- Acknowledge that we still have both traditional and pathways programs in operation for 2019/2020 Ask audience to think about what aspects of the six steps coming up will work at their clubs – give feedback at end.
- Encourage senior members to complete the Pathways Mentoring Program Short Term: completion of a level Long Term: complete a Path Mentor for the Champions – manages and oversees the program and reports back to club Simple communication process to check with mentors & proteges

- Go to the D73 website pathways resources page and download a word document that you can add to.
- Let participants know that they can go to the TI shop and put Pathways in the search field to find pins etc.
- Suggest that the certificates can be downloaded from Base Camp in members transcript, printed and laminated to be awarded at a club meeting. Show my example Certificate of Proficiency for Strategic Relationships path.
- Ask each of the BCMs and all participants to join the following social media forums: search for the following Region 12 Base Camp Managers: Pathways Discussion Forum: Promote some upcoming online opportunities from July to December – run by a group of International Pathways champions
- A new initiative from the International Pathways Champions – called Tuesday Tips and Tools – however these are scheduled in USA time zone and would appear for us on our Wednesday afternoons.
- Mentoring helps: strengthen club base; support club/member goals; potential for DCP points Use a blended motivational strategy
- Short Term Program: Mentoring Mentor a Member into Pathways Long Term Program: Advanced Mentoring Mentor the Champions to Level 5
- Complete the Self-Assessment tools (goals, expertise, expectations, boundaries) Record the goals of Protégé (short term, medium term and long term) Complete Tracking Log, Monthly Goal Check Evaluate as both Protégé and Mentor Meetups in person – catchups online – follow ups any time

- Agree on a communication schedule - Determine the scope of each mentoring session - Identify the milestones First Meeting: Share: selected personal interests, hobbies and experiences Define: your goals for this mentorship. Discuss: why you joined this mentorship program

- Discuss – resources required, completion of the online class at Base Camp, researching for ideas Create – put the project in a timeline, determine when to schedule speech, how to prepare the speech Allow 5 minutes for breakouts
- Enable 3 of the pairs to report back (a series of 2 minute mentoring topics) (allow 6 minutes) Ask for a whiteboard scribe (or butchers paper) and add points from feedback
- Final segment of presentation: allow 5 minutes Talk about how other specific mentoring activities could be done at different levels @ your club
- Access the D73 website to showcase how to get a better view of elective descriptions
