1. Aware
The first stage of the customer path is Aware, which is when
a potential customer learns about a company. Typically,
customers first notice the company through paid advertising
or social media posts, though they might also learn about
the company through a personal referral from a current or
past customer. Wix is very popular on YouTub Ads and soon
gaining the market share.
2. Appeal
In this stage, the potential customer understands what a brand or
company offers and finds that company interesting. If the company's
marketing or website appeals to the buyer, then the company might
earn a spot on their list of potential vendors.
So, given that website is the core of most of the businesses today , it
has managd to appeal the customers by speeding up the website
development process and even hosting it. Instead of programming ,
any person can build a website through Drag and Drop method which
has successfully attracted website-makers.
3. Ask
A potential customer might investigate the company's products and
services so they can compare it to the other options they're
considering. During this phase, the potential customer is interested in
the specific features and benefits of the solution they've contacted the
company to discuss.
Since all the tutorials are available on YouTube and the
documentation is available as well, the company has the power to win
the trust of the customer.
4. Act
In the Act stage, the potential customer makes a purchase from
the company. This purchase might be a single transaction for a
product or a subscription model, where they pay a fee for a
service they use multiple times.
5. Advocate
In this final stage, the customer
becomes an advocate for the
company because of their
purchasing experience. They
might recommend the company
to friends and family, share posts
from the company on social
media and submit testimonials or
user reviews for the product or
service.
Word of Mouth becomes an
advantage of the company here.
What Is Share of Mind?
Mindshare is a marketing term that describes the
amount of consumer awareness or popularity
surrounding a particular product, idea, or company.
Practically, it is the consumer perception of a particular
brand or product compared to their rivals as measured
by the amount of talk or mentions generated by the
public or the media.
A person involved in website making very well knows
about this product because it has become very popular
because of its features. Also the YouTube ads have
contributed massively to this.
What Is Share of Heart?
So, the Share of Mind concentrates on spreading awareness and
converting a potential customer to a real customer , Share of Heart is
related to the emotional connect a customer develops with time with
that product. Customer not only advocates the product, but also makes
repeat purchases and prefer the product over other competitors that
may come afterwards.
