Key qualification:
I am an Iraqi civil engineer graduated on 1996 and M.Sc on
2007. I have had a good experience in civil and structural works
including supervision works, quantity surveying, sewer network,
storm network, estimate works, planning, building assessment,
structural design, contracts, site works, planning and building
construction works. This experience is gained through working over
15 years in the largest oil construction projects companies in south
of Iraq like “SCOP” starting as site supervisor engineer to design
engineer and finally to project filed engineer and Head of civil
engineering section "sub-department". Working with well
established companies provided me good knowledge and experience
of how to apply project specifications, how to control work and
resources, how to deliver a high quality work in time then design
steel and concrete structure. Moreover, I have a wide experience in
oil field projects; I have been SCOP coordinator and meeting manger
“from SCOP side” with a USA and British international company
like bp "British petroleum” for over 21 projects IPT/FL and river
crossing" also with GE-water Company for ultra filtration water
injection project for WQ oil field. Pipe lines and storage tanks and
other oil fields projects enhanced my knowledge in mechanical
engineering.
I have been working more than year with a USA and British
international company like Halcrow and FLUOR_AMEC.
I have been designing civil work, networks, drain system and
jetty structurals for international company like FLUOR_AMEC,
Shapoorji pallongi and Weston solution G.Comp.
I have been designing civil work, sewer-storm network and
structural “part time works” for national companies like Almanar
Comp. , Al Hilu Comp, Noor alkhlig Comp., Anwar Alkaleaj alarabia
Comp. ,Alhadatha Comp. Cubic Comp. and Sama Al fayha Comp.
I had got AlAshar bridge design review, checking and evaluating
contract of main bridge for Alnashab Company to revise the design
and gave the recommendations to solve the construction problems.
My experience in civil field is supported by a good knowledge
and experience in the electronic engineering as I got self education
in electronics which enabled me to enhance my engineering skills
specially in substation and control room building requirement , so
that, I can deal with various engineering tasks efficiently and I have
recommendations from International ,state and local company "I
can submit it at interview".

Civil works:
 1997 to 98:
Site Engineer in the Engineering works department for
ministry of defiance :
Work included building houses and living precast units for
different purposes, camps and military units (During my military
service). Most of the work has been done by direct execution
which gave me a good knowledge in building materials, Prices,
construction methods, bills of quantities, site planning,
distributing building teams, document works and other
construction works.
 To Mar 99:
One of Site Engineers team in Suliman Complex Project:
Work included site organization and work supervision for a
governmental building complex in Baghdad. The complex had a
small hospital, conventional houses and buildings, two story
buildings of pre-cast units, internal roads, sewerage systems,
boundary walls and parks. Beside the experience in construction
materials and methods, I got in this project a good experience in
dealing with the sub contractors and with the client and
contracts issues such as claims, variations and measurements
for different types of civil and electrical works. I performed also in
this project design work for concrete buildings with one way, two
way and ribbed slabs.
 To Sep 2003
Filed Engineer in SCOP (State Company for Oil Projects):
I started work in this company as site engineer and then filed
engineer. My work responsibilities in the company were site
supervision, design of pipe supports and concrete structures,
Prepare procedures and BoQ and project coordination. Following
are the main projects I directed with a brief.
 To Jun 00: Water purification and injection project in west
Qurna oil field
Design and construction of various types of service sheds,
buildings, substation, piping supports and valve pits, quantity
survey and engineering measurements for the site work,
surveying and work supervision on WI and WT.

 To Aug 01: LPG (Khor Alzuber Liquefied Propane Gas) Project
Rehabilitation of concrete storage tanks, pipe supports and
saddles for main pipes as well as steel sheds and flares supports.
 To Apr 02: Tuba Tank farm Project for Crude Oil
Design and Construction supervised for foundations of scraper
42” pipes launcher and receiver, large underground valve pits
and all civil works related.
 To Aug 02: Pump Station 1 (PS1) SOC Project
Design and construction with direct supervision for pits and
supports for 36 and 48 inches crude oil pipe and valves,
manifold footing block for oil gathering pipe network.
 To Feb 03: Shut Al Arab River Crossing Pipe Project
Design and execution for oil pipe crossing the river with all
survey work for the river underneath (river profile), filling in the
river base, design the pipe concrete coating, steel reinforcements
and its carve based on its elasticity “beam on elastic foundation”,
casting concrete and pipe installation and alignment.
 18th October 2003 until 31 May 2004 : Site engineer in
HALCROW company , work included direct supervision on
several small and large projects and edit bill of quantity
(quantity surveying) and engineering measurements for the site
work:

 Al Basrah Municipality building.
 Al Khora Municipality building.

19th January 2005 until 11 Nov 2005 : Site engineer in
FLUOR-AMEC company , work included direct design and
supervision on several large projects.
I trained in Geographical Information System (GIS) by foreign
(USA trainers from Mott MacDonald-Esri company ) also I
used the GIS system in combination with AutoCAD 2004 to
design sanitary sewer system (Network) for many areas in Basra
. Also I designed large manholes and pits , casing concrete box
under highways ,box culvert , EDB ,concrete siphon ,substation
concrete structures and pipe installation elevations and
alignment by GIS.
Evaluation and change parts and members of elevated tanks
in Hy al-husin area by using StaadPRO program this work done
by Mott MacDonald international company.

Also design most civil parts of alsheeba camp buildings for Iraqi
military camp joint venture with Prof. Dr Anis .
Primary design of most parts for UmQaser 3-phases T&L piers

pier (RORO) structure for Al Hilu Comp.
My works with Prof. Dr. Ihsan:
Design Sewer system (network), intake and water treatment plant
concrete parts , water concrete tanks, Concrete parts of sewer
treatment ,EDB, Large pump stations ,underground pumps wells
pits and tanks, irrigation radial steel gate, multistory buildings ,
bridge for many company like: Almanar Comp. , Noor alkhlig
Comp., Anwar Alkaleajalarabia Comp. Sama Al fayha Comp and
Al Hadatha cpmpany, Medad company and Alnashab Company.
 2007 until 2014 I m return back to SCOP (State Company for
Oil Projects)
I restarted works in this company as Designer and filed engineer.
My work responsibilities in the company were site supervision,
design of pipe supports and large concrete structures like Nasrya
substation, WQ-UF substation for oil storage farm and project

Also, I design large K-span sheds over 20 sheds ground to
ground type and elevated type, ring beams under steel tanks,
caravans, manifold footing, steel platforms , Admin. Building,
lighting tower, T- walls, Soil treating, drain system, concrete box
culverts and our elevated concrete building structure for main
office of SCOP south.
Revised GE design for water intake and water treatment for WQ-
oil field injection.
Design NGL Large box culverts span for trailers over 120 ton
total weights crossing different type’s groups pipes and
supervising on construction it until commotions.
Design and solve different types of tolerance of tanks ring beam
facing for storage tank at Fao and Gata depot .
Design booster pumps at Fao depot .
Revised ,supervising on construction and solve different types of
problems and clash for Siemens and Pinespen Design of new
GTUs at Fao depot
Design different types of pipe support from 4” to 48”.
Supervision on drain system at pumps at Fao depot .
Give different training types for civil engineering’s programs for
drafting CAD and structure Design.
Attended and managed different type of meeting with different
companies’ state, local and Internationals like ROO, bp, GE, and
EXXON Mobil.

SCOP field department.

pile and drain system for Shat Al Arab Hotel at Basrah palace
area “Medad company”.
*- Design and drafting for arc regulator system for Aldaker river ”
Medad company”.
*- Evaluating and redesign composite section many ports and
jetties system specially the structure in Um kaser and Khor
Alzuber joint venture with Prof. Dr. Anis University of Basrah
using structure programs.
*-Re-Design oil filed platform, pipe foundation and pipe rack for
flare at Rumaila for Cubic Company.

Sewer and storm System:
I designed storm, sewer and P.S system using GIS & sewerCAD for
national companies like Medad, Alhadatha, NoorAlkhlig, Sama Alfiha
and Alhilu Company .
Computer works and knowledge:
 Computer institute (part time “afternoon”): Hardware assembly
and computer maintenance from 1|1|2002 to 1|1|2003.
 Hussnin office for general contracting:
Assembly and maintenance of computers, program design of
intelligent weighing machines (160 ton) by using computer-
interfacing techniques installed in:
1) South state company for fertilizer (in khor al zubair-basrah).
2) State company of petrochemical industries.
