PDHPE is one of the six key learning areas in the NSW primary school curriculum and is an important component that provides students with fundamental skills. It encourages understanding of self and others, the importance of physical activity, and making informed decisions to develop and maintain a healthy lifestyle. PDHPE encourages students to develop movement and coordination skills, acquire understanding of growth and development, be active, develop positive relationships, be safe, and eat well.
