It is important that when producing a media text you do secure permissions for all of the
above as without permissions you may have to remove your text from the internet and
could potentially be sued for breaching copyright infringements.
For locations, permissions need to be secured as filming without permissions could upset
members of the public and could potentially be dangerous for the crew and public
involved.
The penalties of not securing permission can be really serious for example: arrests, bans

film in these locations as we could get in
trouble with the owners and possibly get
accused trespassing/sued.
As a group we will have to consider that we might not get
permission to film in some of our locations such as outside as
the council might not get back to us. It is very likely that we
will get permission for the houses as they belong to the
members in our group.
BBC Three logo – Copyright It is important that we get permission to use
the BBC Three logo as we are using it as the
channel we are going to broadcast it on.
As a group we will have to consider that we might not get
permission in order to use the logo. If this doesn’t happen we
might have to change the channel that we can broadcast it on
as it is important that we show what channel it is going to be
aired on.

our trailer sound more realistic.
As a group if we will have to consider that we might not get
permission to use certain sound effects. We would overcome
this by getting our sound effects from a different source or by

order to give their consent for filming.
As a group we will have to consider that all the actors might
not give their consent to film them. If this was to happen we
would then would have to consider by changing our actors.
Soundtrack It is important that we get permission to use
the sound track to use in our trailer in order
to make it more entertaining for the
consumer. It would also make our trailer
look more realistic.
As a group we will have to consider that we might not get
permission to use the sound track that we want therefore we
would have change to a different soundtrack.
