Investigation of How Mark Shows the Difference Between Jesus and the Pharisees Over the
Observance of the Sabbath
Jesus and the Pharisees face each other and test each others religious and spiritual knowledge and
understanding regularly in Mark s gospel. These common conflicts brought emphasis to just how
much Jesus knew about God s opinions of the Sabbath in comparison to the Pharisees. On many
occasions he even outsmarted the great teachers of the law. Jesus was constantly the first to be
confronted by the Pharisees but always the one to make the last point, because as much as they
tried the Pharisees could never beat Jesus in a test of spiritual and religious knowledge. However,
they persisted in ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
However, the Pharisees were brought up in a completely different way because of this, their
opinions and interpretation about Jewish life were different to his. I will now provide some
information surrounding the Pharisees:
The word Pharisee means separated one . I assume that this was the name issued to them due to
the fact that they thought so highly of themselves that they were separated from the rest of
society. They considered themselves superior to the other Jews, because of their knowledge on
the Holy Scriptures. They became almost like teachers to the public due to their knowledge, as
people were to come to them for advice since they assumed that the scriptures had solutions to all
of their problems. Many people became dependant on the Pharisees religious guidance which made
them powerful and a significant group of people. I believe that their abilities made some of the
Pharisees overconfident, self centred and big headed .
The Pharisees came from among wealthy business people and merchants. This is partially why
they thought so highly of themselves, because of their great financial network. The only
significant thing to the Pharisees was their oral law, the Law of Moses and the law of the Sabbath
and how their rules and standards were being kept. They wanted the rest of the Jewish community
to live by a strict code of

Chuck Berry Research Paper
Keith Richards Honors Chuck Berry at Polar Music
On Tuesday, August 26th, Chuck Berry was awarded the Polar Music Prize in a ceremony at
Stockholm Concert Hall, as well as a short video clip from Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards,
honoring the rock guitar legend. Unfortunately Berry wasn t present to receive the award himself,
but luckily Welsh rock guitarist Dave Edmunds was there to accept the award on his behalf.
Ironically, Keith Richards wasn t physically present at the ceremony either, but he sent a video in
his stead, paying homage to Chuck Berry and how much he has influenced Richards personally. In
the short, forty five second clip, Richards sings Berry s praises.

1. What is the philosophy of the counseling profession? How has this changed over time? Why is
this important to study?
A. My practical view of the philosophy of the counseling profession is that each session is a
journey of self exploration by the client, meant to increase his/her level of self understanding and
self awareness.
B. The counseling profession itself is a little more than a hundred years old. A license can be

Stress has and will always be a part of human life. It is not uncommon to find teenagers battling
with stress due to over load of work. Real life stories from teenagers who have experience times of
great sadness and stress seem to be the order of the day. According to youth development experts at
the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, stressis defined as a condition that is characterized by
feelings of frustration, worry, sadness, and withdrawal that commonly last from a few hours to a

Roman And Greek Research Paper
Roman Greek Essay
This essay will prove that we have gotten many things from Greece and Rome. One of the things
we have gotten from Greece and Rome was law and politics. Another thing that we have gotten
from them is art. The last one that I have down, is art. We have many ideas that they ve shared.
For Law and Politics, we have learned many things from the Romans and the Greeks. One of the
things that we have gotten from the Greeks and Romans was the Democracy. Democracy basically
means people power , equality within people. Also, they have personal freedom which is what we
have today. We have the same government as the romans had.
Roman and Greek are is similar to today s art. They made paintings of people and places, like we do

Actions And Characters In A Separate Peace By John Knowles
In the novel, A Separate Peace by John Knowles, the seasons develop actions and characters in
the story. The story takes place at an all boys boarding school in New Hampshire during World
War II based off of the author s previous experiences at a boarding school. The two main characters,
Finny and Gene, experience character development alongside different seasons. In written works,
seasons are commonly used to symbolically represent a change in the character s personalities. The
nature or setting of the story is used to specifically evolve Finny and Gene in seasons such as the
summer, autumn, and winter. Each season change also generates an entirely different mood. In the
summertime, the atmosphere is very carefree and cheerful. The... Show more content on

This change is shown in A Separate Peacewhen the residing feelings of happiness fade to
confusion and tragedy. As the summer session comes to an end, Finny falls from a tree and
shatters his leg. Gene witnesses this and affirms Finny, his balance gone, swung his head around
to look at me for an instant with extreme interest, and then he tumbled sideways, broke through
the little branches below and hit the bank... (Knowles 52). This abnormal mistake in Finny s
behavior was caused by Gene s recently developed feelings of resentment towards his friend.
Gene thinks Finny had deliberately set out to wreck my studies (Knowles 45). Gene purposely
jounced the limb Finny was standing on due to his rash feelings of animosity. These feelings are
conveniently aligned with the season shift by the author to add character development and change,
as well as symbolism and depth in his writing. Gene s shift from a trusting, willing friend to a
skeptical, apprehensive enemy shows how the season of fall changes the characters in this novel. In
final analysis, autumn brings about a negative change in the boy s psyche and forces them to face
unpleasant realities and come to terms with their friendship. References to winter in literature may
refer to despair, anguish and death. During winter, the reality of war is brought to light to the

The Effects Of Related Words On The Short Term Verbal...
The effect of related words on the short term verbal memory of psychology students.
The aim of the investigation is to research the use of semantically grouped words, to aid memory
recall. This relates to studies such as the Method of Loci which believed since all the words are
connected in an environment they are easier to remember as they are associated together. [1]
The experimental hypothesis is that the number of words recalled will be increased by the
words being related. Laboratory experiment was the method used, in a lecture theatre setting and
a within participant s design. Twenty, first year psychology students, ages 17 to 38 years old,
were studied on their ability to recall words read out by the examiner after a period of time. In the
first condition the words were unrelated while in the second condition the words were all related
together and this caused an increase in the participants remembering them. In condition one the
mean number of words recalled was 6.6 with the highest score being 9, while on the other hand,
condition two had a mean of 10.2 words recalled and the highest scoring participant got 12 words
correct.
Introduction
Memory has been shown to be a model, involving a process that requires attention for the
information to enter the short term memory. Atkinson and Shiffrin (1968) believed that if the
information is then rehearsed, it is moved into the long term memory. [2] The aim of the
experiment was to test whether semantically related words

My First Lesson On The Battle Of Lexington And Concord
This week I only attended three days for block teaching. Monday was Columbus Day so the
school was closed and everyone had the day off. Friday I did not attend because it was fall break
for WIU so I decided to go home for the weekend. On Tuesday the students worked on Cornell
notes for several headings in their textbook. Then on Wednesday I taught my first lessonon the
battles of Lexington and Concord. The students analyzed two primary source documents then as
a class we discussed their similarities and differences. The lesson went well despite the fact that
two thirds of the class was missing due to state testing. The fact that majority of the class made
me worried for the lesson I prepared for the following day because the two lessons were designed
to match up. However, I was pleasantly surprised that Thursday s lesson went as smoothly as it
did. The students stayed on task and were focused so I did not have really any issues with
classroom management. Since this week was short and I taught two out of the three days I was
present my teacher didn t have much involvement with his class. On Thursday when one student
was getting a big rowdy before class due to an argument my mentor pulled him into the hallway to
address the situation. I believe my best classroom management skills were displayed during my
Wednesday lesson. Due to majority of the class being missing I got the vibe that the students who
were present thought of it as a free day. I had one student who decided

Sasha: Eh...I don t know. Animals should just be left alone and be free to roam around in the wild.
They should not be tortured like those animals that I saw while visiting that kill floor .

Devon: I can agree with that too! So, when animals are on the farm, they really don t know what s
going to come in the future. Also, if they do get hurt, they are able to get over it quickly and not sit
there and think about the pain.
Sasha: But it still bothers me that they are not getting treated the same way as humans. I
remember in Peter Singers article when he talked about the idea of speciesism. He said that it was
an attitude of bias that favored the interest of members of their own species (4). The one species is
against the other species.
Devon: Well, I can see how that is a good argument.
Sasha: And the fact that we treat these animals based on intelligence is also ridiculous. Just because
a dog does not understand what it means to vote, society should not consider it less intelligent than
us. It is a living thing that deserves the best life.
Devon: Okay, but Sasha, you have to also remember that these animals do depend on us to
continue to live a good life. Without us, they would be put in the wild and be put at risk of dying
fast. In Pollan s article, he discussed how animals live longer in captivity and how domesticated
animals can t live on their own in the wild (6). Yeah, they will not be living the absolute free life,
but they will be protected and nourished if needed.
Sasha: Hmmm I never really noticed that. But, do you see how these animals are being treated like
a tool? In Regan s article, he said that animals should not be treated as a means

Examples Of Characterization In Night By Elie Wiesel
In many pieces of literature authors use character change to show the progression of
characterization throughout the novel. In Night, by Elie wiesel, character change happens
because of the setting Eli is in. Eli the protagonist s feelings changes as a result of his setting. Eli
is left with his father after being taken away from his home and sent to the concentration camps.
Eli was innocent, kind, waiflike, and a religious person. While at the camps Eli has to decide
whether or not he can stay true to himself or become a brute. By the end of the novel, Eli has
become non religious, and brutal towards his father and others. Throughout the book Eli has gone
through many obstacles rendering him to lose faith in god. He shows his lost faith in god after

Eli shows his change towards his father when he get mad at his father when he sees his father
get beaten by Idek. This happened while they were loading diesel motors under the supervision
of German Soldiers including Idek. Eli just watched Idek release his wrath on Father with an
iron bar and did not defend him . Eli also becomes a brute towards his father when he thinks to
himself that he should just abandon his father and survive for himself. He thinks of this while
when he was wandering for hours searching for his father on and off around the camp. Eli stops
and in his mind he says If only I didn t find him him! If only I were relieved of this responsibility,
I could use all my strength to fight for my own survival, to take care only of myself... (106)
Similarly Eli unwilling gives his portion of soup to his dying father. He does this when he
realizes his father had not eaten anything all day. Eli s heart was heavy, when he realized he had
failed the test just like the Rabbi s son. Eli not only becomes a brute towards his father but to others

An Investigation Based Research Project
During the course of English 102 this semester, I analyzed, questioned, and made critical
connections between sources by using my research, my sources, interpretation, analysis, and
critique. Upon entering the class, I didn t understand what an inquiry based research essay was, and
I didn t see the distinction between this inquiry based researchproject and other types of research I
have done. However, through several modifications and suggestions from my classmates, instructor,
and the Writing Center, I now understand what inquiry is, and how to employ it.
Throughout all the papers I ve written it s always just started to write off my head with little to
no information about what the topic was. All thanks to English 102 it opened my eyes on how
to create and demonstrate what I could put down on a paper. The project first started out by
asking a question. Usually, I would stop there and go on with my paper, but for this paper, I dug
deeper ask why, which only created more questions to continue my project. We learn in class how
you should take everything into consideration, for example, my project is about the effects T.V
commercials have on children the things that I was looking for were age, race, gender, and
background. When more question is being asked if opens more information and forced me to

The Most Important Part Of Prescribing An Exercise Program
Exercise Assessment The most important part of prescribing an exercise program is the proper
assessment of the client to ensure they are physically, mentally, and healthy enough to engage in
a certain type of program. With any female client 55 years of age or older, risk for cardiovascular
disease (CVD) should always be assessed. This will help determine how to properly proceed
with the development of an exercise program. According to the ACSM s Guidelines for Exercise
Testing and Prescription, reviewing health and medical history is the first step in assessing risk
for CVD (American College of Sports Medicine, 2014). If there is a known disease this puts a

A normal BMI range is 18.5 24.9; less than 18.5 is underweight; 25 29.9 is overweight; and
greater than or equal to 30 is considered obese. These values are important to remember and
keeping in mind those with a low BMI (less than 18.5) greatly increases their risk for fractures in
the pelvis and ribs (Compston et al., 2014) .
After assessing an individual s health status and risk for CVD, as well as gathering anthropometric
data, getting more specific with evaluating specific risks related to osteoporosis would be the next
step. With individuals who have osteoporosis, assessing their risk for falls and fractures are two
very important objectives to developing an exercise prescription. A low BMI may tell you that
an individual is at an increased risk but there is much more that should be considered in this
assessment process. Knowing the history of a client is important and understanding that with
any type of previous fracture will also automatically increase the individual s risk for reoccurring
fractures. Also, by simply looking at someone s standing stance can be an indicator as well, if their
stance is narrower there is a better chance of losing balance and if the stance is wider the person
will be more stable. I one year study observing the fall predictions in 225 female and 45 male
elderly individuals with an average age of 73 years showed that the

The Demise Of The Tobacco Smoking
What some are calling a new fad, may very well be the answer to the demise of the tobacco
smoking epidemic. While it is not likely to happen any time soon, it definitely has the potential.
Electronic cigarettes, also known as vaporizers, are the better alternative to smoking traditional
tobacco cigarettes. They contain less harmful chemicals, are less expensive, and provide a smoother
transition from smokingcigarettes to not smoking at all. It is difficult to comprehend why
generation after generation of people continue to smoke cigarettes despite the fact they are fully
aware of the detrimental effects of the behavior.

As the diagram below shows, the tobacco rod is covered by the cigarette paper. The filter plug is
shrouded by the plug wrap paper, and both are joined together by the tipping paper. King size
cigarettes are typically around 80 mm long and 8 mm in diameter, while containing around 750
mg of tobacco. Filter lengths range 25 30 mm. When the end of a cigarette burns, the smoke from
the combustion moves through the unburned tobacco and filter, then inhaled into the user s
mouth and lungs. Some of the most dangerous elements of smoking are a product of the
combustion. Electronic cigarettes can come in many different shapes and sizes and can be
realistic looking or can be in larger forms with batteries and larger tanks. They all use the same
basic concept as the diagram below shows. When an e cigarette is triggered (either by an inhale or
with a button press) the battery connected to the heating element (atomizer) boils a tiny amount of
liquid (e liquid). This creates a vapor which is inhaled by the user. At no point is anything burned
through the process of combustion so no smoke/ash/tar is ever created (Project Vape).
The most obvious reason for kicking the smoking habit, or never picking it up, is the ridiculous
amount of toxic chemicals found in a cigarette or cigarette smoke. There are over 4000 known
chemicals in some form of the cigarette. The most dangerous of the chemicals would be the

The sixth sense is demonstrated in all the progression and inventions of human civilizations.
Sometimes, the inventions springs suddenly but after a long trials and sufferings; so that the

Film Production And Production Major Essay
Imagine hearing your alarm clock start to buzz and you turn to look at the clock, the time reads
4am. You get up, have a quick breakfast, and get dressed for work. By the time you end up back
at home it is around 11pm 12am and you are exhausted but have to do the same thing over in the
morning. This lifestyle is quite normal for people working in filmproduction and this schedule is
typical to last over a three month period. Although film productionis an exhausting profession it can
be very rewarding in itself. Film is an art form and producers make a generous living on the wages
if done correctly.
Missouri State is home to an excelling Film and Production major by the name of Thomas

has had an abundance of success thus far. Thomas is from Belgium and came to the United
States in 2011 as an exchange student. His main goal for studying away was to better his
English and go back to Belgium to start working on a career. Although he did not know what
that career might be, being bilingual in French and English would expand his career options
exponentially. He did however have a passion for movies and film early on in life. He owned a

news report reported that the State Highway Patrol logged fifty more fatalities than in the same
period for the prior year. The Highway Patrol noted that nineteen fatalities were the result of
distracted driving. The problems of distracted driving exist throughout the United States. For
example, this year Wisconsin enacted a law prohibiting texting while driving due to the danger of
distracted driving. In New York, students at the State University of New York Fredonia (SUNY)
sponsored a texting awareness week to make college students more aware of the risks of distracted
driving. The dangers of distracted driving have led the United States Department of Transportation
to make a major initiative to develop solutions to end distracted driving. The impact of distracted
driving has led President Obama to declare December, 2010 as National Impaired Driving
Prevention Month. Many states have addressed the problem by prohibiting texting while driving.

Essay On Wittgenstein Concept Of Grammar
One of the essential aspects of philosophy is the capability for good communication. It is because
this discipline involves a practice of articulating thoughts and opinions or of disseminating
arguments. In simple sense, it circumscribes sharing of ideas and information between two or more
persons.
However, as a philosopher one must take into consideration the aptness to establish and justify one
s personal opinion, to acknowledge others perspective, and to specify logically the reason for
considering one s own view as advantageous to the alternatives.
In response to this reason, Ludwig Wittgenstein claimed that one of the most important aspects of
communication in philosophical standpoint is grammar. It is in view of the thought that Grammar ...

Export And Demand Of Goods From Other Countries
For years upon years, countries have been requesting for other countries for supplies that they do
not have for themselves. The countries would demand for that item and in return the other country
would supply it for them. They would trade products in and out of their countries due to a term
known as supply and demand. The goods and services that a country supplies and demands depends
on the country and what they have. Since not every country has the same needs or has the same
resources, there is a trade between countries at times. Comparing the countries and their supply and
demands of imports and exports, the top countries for each have their reasons to why they re at the

Some countries might supply, the amount of goods that a market can produce, and demand, the
amount of goods the consumers are willing to buy, more than others, but they are still supplying
and demanding something out of someone else. The country could demand something from its
own citizens and the citizens would supply it, but it could be applied to an even bigger
audience. A country could demand something from another country and in result, the other
country would supply the demand to either keep its friendship with the other country, or to keep
its reliance for when something is needed. Or the countries could do a simple trade of supplies
they have that the countries demand. In result to supply and demand between countries, it
creates utility, total satisfaction received from consuming a goods or service. Demand shows
how much of a product a consumer is willing and able to consume, based on the price at a certain
time period. The law of demand is, when prices are to fall, the quantity of the product that
consumers want begins to rise. In simpler forms, when the price to an item drops, consumers are
willing to buy more because they are cheaper and more affordable, more people are willing and
able to buy the item. If it was to be the opposite, where the price was to increase, the demand for
the product would decrease due to the price being more expensive. When prices are decreased, the
quantity is increased, which gives the law of demand an inverse

Assessment of Permits for water Extraction Establishment of Managed Aquifer recover (MAR)

1. Introduction 2.1. Managed Aquifer Recovery Systems
As reported by the South Australian local government of Charles Sturt (2012), Aquifer Storage and
Recovery (ASR) or Managed Aquifer Recharge (MAR) is essentially the deliberate storage of
surface water (i.e. in the form of stormwater, treated effluent etc) within aquifers. This process is
used where water is pumped into aquifers for future usage. Furthermore, MAR systems avoid the
need for expensive above ground water tanks, or reservoirs which are subject to significant water

It is also proposed to locate an MAR 2km from the coast roughly in the middle of the study area.
This MAR will inject tertiary treated sewage water into all three aquifers to prevent salinity
intrusion that is occurring in that vicinity.
As discussed above, we have an initial water balance from a previous study of the Study Area, and
we have some new parameters to enter into our assessment, namely the proposal to extract 2 ML/d
from the reservoir, and 5 ML/d from the river.
We must also note that the proposed MAR does not specify how much water would be injected, and
the proposed permits assessed below do not stipulate the quality of water required. If the permits
below require high quality water, (i.e. better than tertiary treated effluent), the following assessment
may be inaccurate.
3.4. Water Balance Reservoir
The initial water balance suggests that the water balance for the reservoir (i.e. the net change in
water in storage) was 10450 ML / Year, and one of the proposed industrial plants is seeking a permit
to extract 1825 ML / Year from the reservoir.
We can see that the figures above are yield a decrease in the net change in water volume in storage
in the reservoir, however there is still a significant amount of water in the reservoir throughout the
year (8625

The Industrial Revolution completely transformed family life. In the 1970s, female social
scientists, such as Meg Luxton, began to explore different concepts of family life. (Fox 2015, p.

faced where men earned wages and women were expected to act as full time unpaid domestic
workers within the home. Therefore, as a byproduct of this Revolution, women became increasingly
independent and career motivated. (Volarevic 2012, p. 223). Consequently, women were becoming
less domestically oriented, and as a result, were disrupting the family structure. However, this
caused major controversy, as many functionalists were dissatisfied with this change. When
exploring the functionalist perspective, many analysts view the work of Talcott Parsons. Parsons
argues that society establishes several institutions in which reflect a shared valued system. (Grimes
1988, p. 183). He claims that each institution conduct functional tasks in order to sustain social
order. Therefore, when change was brought about, many perceived moral chaos. Feminist
sociologists combatted this argument by declaring that the ideology of the traditional family
structure was of disadvantage to women. (Hare Mustin 1978, p. 1). They argued that functionalists
overlook the inequalities women face in

Active Learning is the Key to Understanding, Not Passive Learning
According to Paulo Freire, a Brazilian educator and philosopher, the current education lacks teacher
student communication. In his article he reveals that, Instead of communicating, the teacher issues
communiques and makes deposits which the students patiently perceive, memorize, and repeat.
This is the banking concept of education, in which the scope of action allowed to the students
extends only as far as receiving, filing, and storing the deposits.
Basically, Freire s argument is that education should involve student teacher knowledge exchange,
rather than the teacher being the one teaching all the time. As someone who is an educator, Freire
understands that knowledge is a result of active learning rather than passive learning. He likens the
current education to a banking system whereby the teacher just deposits information into the
students empty heads. Freire complains that this type of education does not give students the
understanding they need to connect the material with reality. In fact, he stresses out that students
just memorize what is said by the teacher without understanding the concepts. Due to that, he
further describes how the concepts taught in class seem to be disconnected from reality since the
students cannot relate how education affects their day to day lives.
Although I agree with Freire that education should not be like a banking system, I cannot accept his
overriding assumption

Mr Van Daan Essay
My representation of Mr. Van Daan in The Diary of Anne Frank (play version) was somewhat

How Did The Alliance System Cause Ww1
World War I was one of the bloodiest wars that the world has ever experienced. It was fought in
Europe between Germany, Russia, France, Great Britain, the U.S. and many others. However, what
is unknown is the cause of WWI. So the question remains, what was the reason for WWI. Alliance

Alliance systems were one of the principal causes of WWI. The main reason that this was a world

Despite the U.S attempt to remain neutral during WWI, it proved impossible. This meant the U.S.
had to raise the money and forces to wage war. Up until just before the U.S declared war on April

The Tragic Hero in Antigone
Aristotle s theories on tragedy were first established during the fourth century in the
Poetics, where he defines what makes a tragic hero. Aristotle suggests that a tragic hero is a
character who has a high social standing and embodies great nobility in his/her personality. They
are neither a villain nor are they entirely good, but a person somewhat like us, raised to a higher
position in society. In addition, the downfall of a tragic hero is caused by fault of their own, often
through arrogance or pride, as the result of free will. It is triggered by a weakness in their character
or an error of their judgment, which is known as their tragic flaw, or hamartia. The tragic hero s

for the consequences for his actions even after death, which exceed his tragic flaw. He had the

mistake only when he loses it all and it is too late to reverse the consequences of his actions. He
undergoes a drastic change of character, supported by his final statements in the play: I have
been rash and foolish... Fate has brought all my pride to a thought of dust. In this quote, Creon
realizes that he is at fault because he can t control fate and his pride took him nowhere. He even
goes as far to admit that he killed his son and wife. The audience feels sorry for Creon because now
he is alone and lost all of his pride and glory as king.
Creon undergoes much loss because of his tragic flaw and the audience stimulates our pity and
fear for him, making him the epitome of a tragic hero. His pride led to his ultimate downfall and
he does not comply to Teiresias warning until it is too late. Creon shows all of the characteristics
of a tragic hero, from being born into a high social stature to experiencing misfortune that isn t

failed to see. Creon ends up suffering due to his pride, which teaches an important lesson on

without interference. Websites, services and information cannot be blocked, slowed down or
prioritized over others. Net neutrality means that all data should be treated equally (Kraemer).
Net Neutrality is vital for our day to day lives and a lot more important than it may seem. In fact,
without Net neutrality, the internet would change as we know it. The internet has always been an
open platform for those who want their voices heard, their ideas shared, or their projects and
businesses expanded. Removing it means that the internet would be a lot like paying for cable
television. Internet service providers would be able prioritize websites and even block competitors
or those who simply cannot afford to pay. Net neutrality is essential to allow users the free access
of information he or she desires(Berkman). Ultimately, net

Beauty By Tony Hoagland Essay
Deeper than the Surface
Beauty by Tony Hoagland was written in 1998. In this poem, Hoagland expresses his feelings on
how women care too much about physical appearances. Throughout his poem he tells the story
through the eyes of a brother of a girl who learns to love herself for who she is. Hoagland s poem
stresses the importance that beauty goes deeper than the surface. Throughout his poem, Tony
Hoagland uses many literary devices to perfect his poem. These devices include the message, tone,
imagery, figures of speech, and personification. Tony Hoagland was born November 19, 1953 in
Fort Bragg, North Carolina ( Poet Tony Hoagland ). Hoagland attended school at the University of

However, a poem could be written without personification and still be great. In this poem the
speaker states, season when the young buttercups and daisies climb up on the mulched bodies of
their forebears to wave their flags in the parade (1096). This stanza is personification because it
talks about the buttercups and daisies climbing up. This line of the poem also reminds the reader of
soldiers marching in a parade.
The speaker states something she had carried a long ways, but had no use for anymore, now that
it had no use for her (1096). This line of the poem speaks of beauty as if it is a person. Since beauty
decided to be down with the girl, she decided to be done with beauty.
After a complete analysis of Beauty by Tony Hoagland, there are multiple ways he succeeds in
writing a meaningful poem. Each of the literary devices used played an important role in perfecting
his poem. Hoagland did an excellent job at sending a message and his tone played an important role
in making the message more sincere. Hoagland s use of imagery, figurative language, and
personification made his poem more entertaining to read. Throughout this poem, Tony Hoagland
shows that beauty, along with poetry, goes deeper than the

Keurig at Home
Keurig at Home Case Study#3
20 million Americans drank gourmet coffee daily in 2003. As a result of this amount of coffee
lovers that can t start their day without coffee, Keurig. Inc had the idea that they should be able
to brew their own perfect cup of coffee any time they need. People started paying $1.50 or more
for a cup of gourmet coffee at coffee shops like Starbucks. This gave Keurig. Inc the idea of
offering coffees in a single cup proportion size to offices. After the placement of Keurig brewers,
gourmet coffee sales increased by 40% in the U.S at home coffee market. According to that big
percent Keurig management wanted to develop an at home single cup coffee brewer for coffee

KAD s are going to help sell the keurig single cup system, they will sell between 1.5 and 1

KAD S and GMCR s happy since there is one cup offered, and for a future successes I would
recommend maintain good relationship with both of these groups A very important objective to
keurig is to create good relationships with high end retailers to sell the keurg at home brewers.
They are taking the pricing of K Cups into consideration too. The target market would be willing
to pay $0.55 per K Cup, based on the market research, this price will allow keurg and the roasters to
make a higher profit per K Cup and it will still give the KAD pricing control in the OCS market.
Keurig Inc. should show the benefits of the B100 brewer and advertise this product to gain unit
sales by distributing through small appliance retailers like department stores, mass merchants, and
kitchen specialty stores. Keurig should also take part in providing discounts and specials to help
raise awareness and loyalty to the product. Keurig should maintain direct and indirect channels in
the at home market. Try to develop a plane with office managers and key users to prevent the theft
of K Cups to use at home. Implement the KAD referral program using the point of sale advertising

Lorenzo Valla s On The Donation Of Constantine
Lorenzo Valla s text On the Donation of Constantine was written during a period in the Renaissance
when a new school of thought, humanism, was on the rise in the early 15th century. Valla s
argument to prove that the Donation of Constantine was a forged document is supported and
enhanced by his utilization of the main components of humanism. By adopting and applying
aspects of humanism, specifically those concerning scholarship and language, Valla indirectly
reflects the history of the world around him while directly criticizing the Donation of Constantine.
Concerning On the Donation of Constantine, Valla structures his argument by utilizing different
formats to express his ideas and expose them in the best possible light. The first structural... Show

For example, Valla describes societal cues, whether in fashion or cultural norms, to display the
forger s ignorance on these matters. Valla first does this by referencing how horses are provided
for the clergy and that they be saddled with coverings of white color (47; sec. 56). Valla then argues
that if the clergy are to be treated like senators then there should be mention of the clergy being
given senatorial garb, which there is not. Valla then demonstrates his knowledge of classical
antiquity by illustrating the various aspects of structural classist fashion such as the color purple.
Carrying on, Valla also uses the geography of classical antiquity to expose the forger. Valla states
that this forger had no idea which provinces were under Constantine and which were not (52; sec.
61). This signifies both the forger s limited access to classical texts and the Renaissance humanists
availability to them. Constantine would be able to name his territories and therefore would not
have made this mistake, thus rendering the Donation of Constantine a forgery. Humanists, in
examining the document, would be able to compare the listed territories by the forger to that under
Constantine s rule. All together, this information summarizes the use of humanist developments to

Nutrition Report Essay
Introduction
We are required to obtain certain amount of nutrients from food. Food can simply divide into 2
groups, macro nutrients and micro nutrients composition. Both of the groups mentioned do affect
the metabolism rate. According to Hulbert and Else, dietary fatty acid will affect the metabolism
rate and some of the polyunsaturated fatty acid will increase the metabolism rate (1999).
Meanwhile, different kinds of animals have their own unique requirement for macro nutrients, such
as proteins, carbohydrates and fat. Moreover, most of the food intake is driven by achieving the
required protein intake. Animals on a low protein diet will over eat carbohydrates and fat until the
protein requirement has been satisfied. If this case ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

cuvette. To find the total length of the Artemia, use the pipette to move the Artemia out of the
cuvette and settle them into a watch glass and measure the length of the Artemias by ruler. At last
but not least, put those high energy intake Artemia back into the sink and repeat the experiment
instead of those low intake Artemia. On the other hand, to find the difference of activity of the high

Chocolaterie Film Analysis
Chocolaterie Film Critique
Simon Clark
Chocolat is a 2000 British American film set in a fake French village (Lansquenet sous Tannes)
during the early fifties. Juliette Binoche plays a single mother with an illegitimate child who
arrives in the village, and the movie follows the story of the town as she tries to start a
Chocolaterie (chocolate shop) in the centre of town, The La Chocolaterie Maya finds business
hard to begin with as the shop is set up during the time of lent, in which all the towns people
participate. Vianne, the shop owner and mother, also makes it difficult because she does not attend
the weekly church with all the other towns people. The story is full of small conflicts with people

The attack has luckily failed.
The main conflict of the entire film is caused by Vianne s presence and beliefs that are not
welcome in the town. It is then the Counts problem to deal with her. They start a boycott on
immorality in an attempt to stop people like Roux from buying from Viannes shop, and to try and
make her bankrupt. But the small number of customers, keeps her running, it does not stop Roux
who seeks interest in Vianne.
Both of these conflicts require being dealt with. The town cannot continue in a regular stress free
state until the issues with Vianne are reconciled, and a solution about Serge is come to. Out of an
unchristian way that it not out of the bible, Serge attempts to fix both of these problems at the
same time. When a party for an old lady, Armande, is held by Vianne and the other townspeople
that are ok with the Chocolaterie, they all head down to Roux s boat for a dance, and Josephine
and Vianne s daughter Anouk go to sleep on the boats. Serge takes the Counts words of, Someone
needs to do something the wrong way and decides to set the boats on fire in an arson attack.
Luckily Josephine and Anouk aren t dead but now Roux has no home. Serge did not follow the
teachings of the bible and therefore caused more problems, and he solved none. The Count finds out
about serge and banishes him from the town.
Easter is approaching and the Count still has to deal with Vianne, who most of the town still

Essay about Relationships in Geoffrey Chaucer s The...
Throughout literature, deep relationships can often be discovered between a story and the author
who writes it. Relationships can also be found in stories about a husband and wife. In Geoffrey
Chaucer s The Canterbury Tales many of the characters make this idea apparent with the stories
they tell. In The Pardoner s Tale , a distinct relationship can be made between the character of the
Pardoner and his tale of three friends. Also, the Wife in The Wife of Bath s Tale boldly declares
her relationship towards her husband.
Throughout The Pardoner s Tale , the main character teaches about greed, gambling, desecration,
and drinking, but in the beginning he admits to committing these sins himself. One of the portrayals
of hypocrisy, in the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The irony of the Pardoner is based on his hypocritical actions. The fact that he does not care about
the souls of those he has tricked, says a lot about his character. Near the end of his tale, the friends
begin to reveal their true personality. All three of them turn on each other trying to steal the
treasure for themselves. All of the trust, which they had promised, was a lie and no loyalty
remained. The supposed faithful friends display their true cruelty and expose their hypocrisy in
relation to the Pardoner s character.
One main theme in The Wife of Bath s Tale is female dominance and equality. In the tale, the wife
portrays her dominance through her own experience. For example, the image of the whip sets her
role as master, and she tells everyone that she is the head of her household. Despite her claim that
experience is her sole power, the Wife of Bath evidently feels the need to create her authority in a
more scholarly manner. She mimics the habits of the scholars and churchmen by supporting her
claims with quotations from antique works and scripture.
The Wife of Bath apparently attempts to emphasize female dominance over men. She contradicts
many of the harsh customs and declares her own haughty assessment of women s function in
society and in relationships. In the story, Chaucer explains that what women want is sovereignty
over their husbands. According to the tale, women desire to be treated as masters over their love.
The story also suggests that

this study, three and six unit thermal power plant is considered which is solved for two different
cases with and without losses. Vo Ngoc Dieu [16], proposed an augmented Lagrange Hopfield
network (ALHN) for real power dispatch on large scale power systems. The proposed ALHN is a
continuous Hopfield network with its energy function based on augmented Lagrange function. For
this combination, the ALHN method can easily deal with large scale problems with nonlinear
constraints. The proposed ALHN has been tested on systems from 40 units to 240 units, IEEE 118
bus and IEEE 300 bus systems, and the obtained results have been compared to those from other
methods. The test results have shown that the ALHN method can obtain better solutions than the
com¬pared methods in a very fast manner. Therefore, the proposed ALHN could be favorable for
implementation on the real power dispatch problems for large scale systems. The proposed ALHN
has been tested on differ¬ent systems with large number of generating units and buses for two
cases neglecting power loss and including power loss in transmission system. Serhat

Deafness and Autism share similar characteristics; however, can be confused with each other if
not diagnosed correctly and in a timely manner. The most important of issue is knowing if the
child has a hearing loss or not because I can potentially mask the signs of Autism and a child can
be misdiagnosed (Syzmanski Brice 2008). For example, if a child is not responding it could
because of their hearing loss not Autism. This can lead to isolated play, especially if they do not
have sign language developed. Moreover, if sign language is not developed then this can lead to a
decrease in social interaction with any individuals leading to a greater isolation. Deafness and
Autism are usually both diagnosed within the first two to three years of age. Since they are
diagnosed around the same time that is where confusion can set in. The symptoms can be similar;
however, it is differentiating between whether the child is deaf or has autism or both. Some deaf
children are misdiagnosed with Autism because a hearing screening was not given until later in
years which showed hearing loss. Additionally, there is not a plethora amount of research to discuss
when it comes to deaf individuals with autism. According to Szymanski, Patrick (2008) and the
Gallaudet Research Institute (2005):

Essay about Service Marketing
Introduction
In an ideal situation, customers would not have to wait for the delivery of products and services.
However, in the real world, organizations cannot always match exact capability and demand;
therefore, waiting is frequently inevitable while purchasing, especially in service marketing, as
service firms can barely inventory their stock for sale at a later date (Lovelock, 1992, p.154). In
general, waiting in lines known as queuing , happens when the number of customers arrive at a
facility exceeds the capability of the system to serve them (Lovelock Wirtz, 2011, p.260). Basically,

When the consumer is waiting alone and have nothing to do, especially in an unfamiliar facility,
the feeling of boring, uncertain about waiting time, stress and anxiety will be increasingly
enlarged with time passing. Queuing also seems more burdensome if people feel physically
uncomfortable. Moreover, because of a fear of been forgotten , the senses of get started of
customers are fervent. It is claimed that the anxiety level is much higher while waiting to be
served than it is while being served, even though the latter queuing will be longer (Lovelock Wirtz,
2011, p.267; Maister, 1985).
Unpleasant waiting experience might accompany with customers go through the whole service
process, which could lower the overall evaluation of service quality easily. Not only the queuing
experience, a number of studies also investigated that queuing time in a service organization
significantly influences consumer satisfaction. In general, increasing in waiting time is associated
with decreasing in customer satisfaction (Katz, M.Larson C.Larson, 1991). The graph (Dube,
Renaghan Miller, 1994) below shows the effect of waiting time on customer satisfaction in
restaurant industry, and suggests that most consumers do not satisfied if the waiting time is longer
than 8 minutes. In addition, another study (Jones Dent, 1994) examined that 70% of respondents

Physical Impact Of Youth Sports
Impact of Youth Sports
Development of children who are in their early stages of life is critical not only for themselves,
but the future roles they play later in their lives. In fact, one of the most crucial parts of a child s
growth can stem from youth sports. Taking a look at youth sports as a whole it has become nearly
encoded within our modern society to have our kids participate in some sort of recreational or club
type atmosphere. Alison Prichard a top physical educator stated that There is little doubt that the
world is infatuated by sports. People watch them, analyze them, argue about them, spend money on
them, and encourage their children to play them. Not surprisingly, youth sport is the most popular
structured activity in the United States, with an estimated 45 million American children enrolled in
an organized program or team in 2005 (Prichard, 2015).
Youth sports has a plethora of positive aspects, and elements that stream from it, the importance and
impact that come along with each of these is where different arguments are made and
disagreements about the role they play occurs. At first glance, most would state the obvious benefit
from youth sports would be the physical aspect of the game which helps children more than
anything be able to create an environment and atmosphere in which they are active. Although, the
effect of youth sports has the ability to be able to make ripples in many more areas than just the
physical aspect. The psychological aspect of

Compare And Contrast Cacti And Pigmyweed
Our biosphere was successful. Every biotic factor we added survived. Both cacti and the worms

Pigmyweed lost 1.3 grams. This means the cacti out competed the succulent. Also, surprisingly,
each of the worms gained 0.015 grams. We believed the worms ate the roots and the plants
decomposed material. Both of the cacti had noticeably larger root systems. In fact, a;; the plants

Developmental Theory Of Delinquency
Developmental theories focus on the entire life cycle of an individual, rather than one particular

has to develop and is not the evolution of an undisclosed condition. Specifically, developmental
theories focus on if an individual has committed any delinquency during a certain time frame, the
amount of delinquency, and how the delinquency will progress into a delinquent career (Regoli,
Hewitt, DeLisi, 2014). A delinquent career can be described as a pattern of delinquent behavior
that an individual portrays within the course of their lifetime (Regoli et al., 2014). The

  • 2. Investigation of How Mark Shows the Difference Between... Investigation of How Mark Shows the Difference Between Jesus and the Pharisees Over the Observance of the Sabbath Jesus and the Pharisees face each other and test each others religious and spiritual knowledge and understanding regularly in Mark s gospel. These common conflicts brought emphasis to just how much Jesus knew about God s opinions of the Sabbath in comparison to the Pharisees. On many occasions he even outsmarted the great teachers of the law. Jesus was constantly the first to be confronted by the Pharisees but always the one to make the last point, because as much as they tried the Pharisees could never beat Jesus in a test of spiritual and religious knowledge. However, they persisted in ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... However, the Pharisees were brought up in a completely different way because of this, their opinions and interpretation about Jewish life were different to his. I will now provide some information surrounding the Pharisees: The word Pharisee means separated one . I assume that this was the name issued to them due to the fact that they thought so highly of themselves that they were separated from the rest of society. They considered themselves superior to the other Jews, because of their knowledge on the Holy Scriptures. They became almost like teachers to the public due to their knowledge, as people were to come to them for advice since they assumed that the scriptures had solutions to all of their problems. Many people became dependant on the Pharisees religious guidance which made them powerful and a significant group of people. I believe that their abilities made some of the Pharisees overconfident, self centred and big headed . The Pharisees came from among wealthy business people and merchants. This is partially why they thought so highly of themselves, because of their great financial network. The only significant thing to the Pharisees was their oral law, the Law of Moses and the law of the Sabbath and how their rules and standards were being kept. They wanted the rest of the Jewish community to live by a strict code of ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 7. Actions And Characters In A Separate Peace By John Knowles In the novel, A Separate Peace by John Knowles, the seasons develop actions and characters in the story. The story takes place at an all boys boarding school in New Hampshire during World War II based off of the author s previous experiences at a boarding school. The two main characters, Finny and Gene, experience character development alongside different seasons. In written works, seasons are commonly used to symbolically represent a change in the character s personalities. The nature or setting of the story is used to specifically evolve Finny and Gene in seasons such as the summer, autumn, and winter. Each season change also generates an entirely different mood. In the summertime, the atmosphere is very carefree and cheerful. The... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Gene witnesses this and affirms Finny, his balance gone, swung his head around to look at me for an instant with extreme interest, and then he tumbled sideways, broke through the little branches below and hit the bank... (Knowles 52). This abnormal mistake in Finny s behavior was caused by Gene s recently developed feelings of resentment towards his friend. Gene thinks Finny had deliberately set out to wreck my studies (Knowles 45). Gene purposely jounced the limb Finny was standing on due to his rash feelings of animosity. These feelings are conveniently aligned with the season shift by the author to add character development and change, as well as symbolism and depth in his writing. Gene s shift from a trusting, willing friend to a skeptical, apprehensive enemy shows how the season of fall changes the characters in this novel. In final analysis, autumn brings about a negative change in the boy s psyche and forces them to face unpleasant realities and come to terms with their friendship. References to winter in literature may refer to despair, anguish and death. During winter, the reality of war is brought to light to the students at Devon. • 8. The Effects Of Related Words On The Short Term Verbal... The effect of related words on the short term verbal memory of psychology students. The aim of the investigation is to research the use of semantically grouped words, to aid memory recall. This relates to studies such as the Method of Loci which believed since all the words are connected in an environment they are easier to remember as they are associated together. [1] The experimental hypothesis is that the number of words recalled will be increased by the words being related. Laboratory experiment was the method used, in a lecture theatre setting and a within participant s design. Twenty, first year psychology students, ages 17 to 38 years old, were studied on their ability to recall words read out by the examiner after a period of time. In the first condition the words were unrelated while in the second condition the words were all related together and this caused an increase in the participants remembering them. In condition one the mean number of words recalled was 6.6 with the highest score being 9, while on the other hand, condition two had a mean of 10.2 words recalled and the highest scoring participant got 12 words correct. Introduction Memory has been shown to be a model, involving a process that requires attention for the information to enter the short term memory. Atkinson and Shiffrin (1968) believed that if the information is then rehearsed, it is moved into the long term memory. • 9. My First Lesson On The Battle Of Lexington And Concord This week I only attended three days for block teaching. Monday was Columbus Day so the school was closed and everyone had the day off. Friday I did not attend because it was fall break for WIU so I decided to go home for the weekend. On Tuesday the students worked on Cornell notes for several headings in their textbook. Then on Wednesday I taught my first lessonon the battles of Lexington and Concord. The students analyzed two primary source documents then as a class we discussed their similarities and differences. The lesson went well despite the fact that two thirds of the class was missing due to state testing. The fact that majority of the class made me worried for the lesson I prepared for the following day because the two lessons were designed to match up. However, I was pleasantly surprised that Thursday s lesson went as smoothly as it did. The students stayed on task and were focused so I did not have really any issues with classroom management. Since this week was short and I taught two out of the three days I was present my teacher didn t have much involvement with his class. On Thursday when one student was getting a big rowdy before class due to an argument my mentor pulled him into the hallway to address the situation. I believe my best classroom management skills were displayed during my Wednesday lesson. Devon: I can agree with that too! So, when animals are on the farm, they really don t know what s going to come in the future. I remember in Peter Singers article when he talked about the idea of speciesism. He said that it was an attitude of bias that favored the interest of members of their own species (4). The one species is against the other species. Devon: Well, I can see how that is a good argument. Sasha: And the fact that we treat these animals based on intelligence is also ridiculous. Just because a dog does not understand what it means to vote, society should not consider it less intelligent than us. It is a living thing that deserves the best life. Devon: Okay, but Sasha, you have to also remember that these animals do depend on us to continue to live a good life. Without us, they would be put in the wild and be put at risk of dying fast. In Pollan s article, he discussed how animals live longer in captivity and how domesticated animals can t live on their own in the wild (6). Yeah, they will not be living the absolute free life, but they will be protected and nourished if needed. Sasha: Hmmm I never really noticed that. • 12. An Investigation Based Research Project During the course of English 102 this semester, I analyzed, questioned, and made critical connections between sources by using my research, my sources, interpretation, analysis, and critique. Upon entering the class, I didn t understand what an inquiry based research essay was, and I didn t see the distinction between this inquiry based researchproject and other types of research I have done. However, through several modifications and suggestions from my classmates, instructor, and the Writing Center, I now understand what inquiry is, and how to employ it. Throughout all the papers I ve written it s always just started to write off my head with little to no information about what the topic was. All thanks to English 102 it opened my eyes on how to create and demonstrate what I could put down on a paper. The project first started out by asking a question. Usually, I would stop there and go on with my paper, but for this paper, I dug deeper ask why, which only created more questions to continue my project. The Most Important Part Of Prescribing An Exercise Program Exercise Assessment The most important part of prescribing an exercise program is the proper assessment of the client to ensure they are physically, mentally, and healthy enough to engage in a certain type of program. With any female client 55 years of age or older, risk for cardiovascular disease (CVD) should always be assessed. This will help determine how to properly proceed with the development of an exercise program. According to the ACSM s Guidelines for Exercise Testing and Prescription, reviewing health and medical history is the first step in assessing risk for CVD (American College of Sports Medicine, 2014). If there is a known disease this puts a person at an immediate high risk for CVD and special precautions should be... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... A normal BMI range is 18.5 24.9; less than 18.5 is underweight; 25 29.9 is overweight; and greater than or equal to 30 is considered obese. These values are important to remember and keeping in mind those with a low BMI (less than 18.5) greatly increases their risk for fractures in the pelvis and ribs (Compston et al., 2014) . After assessing an individual s health status and risk for CVD, as well as gathering anthropometric data, getting more specific with evaluating specific risks related to osteoporosis would be the next step. With individuals who have osteoporosis, assessing their risk for falls and fractures are two very important objectives to developing an exercise prescription. A low BMI may tell you that an individual is at an increased risk but there is much more that should be considered in this assessment process. Knowing the history of a client is important and understanding that with any type of previous fracture will also automatically increase the individual s risk for reoccurring fractures. Also, by simply looking at someone s standing stance can be an indicator as well, if their stance is narrower there is a better chance of losing balance and if the stance is wider the person will be more stable. While it is not likely to happen any time soon, it definitely has the potential. Electronic cigarettes, also known as vaporizers, are the better alternative to smoking traditional tobacco cigarettes. They contain less harmful chemicals, are less expensive, and provide a smoother transition from smokingcigarettes to not smoking at all. It is difficult to comprehend why generation after generation of people continue to smoke cigarettes despite the fact they are fully aware of the detrimental effects of the behavior. When the end of a cigarette burns, the smoke from the combustion moves through the unburned tobacco and filter, then inhaled into the user s mouth and lungs. Some of the most dangerous elements of smoking are a product of the combustion. Electronic cigarettes can come in many different shapes and sizes and can be realistic looking or can be in larger forms with batteries and larger tanks. They all use the same basic concept as the diagram below shows. When an e cigarette is triggered (either by an inhale or with a button press) the battery connected to the heating element (atomizer) boils a tiny amount of liquid (e liquid). This creates a vapor which is inhaled by the user. At no point is anything burned through the process of combustion so no smoke/ash/tar is ever created (Project Vape). Active Learning is the Key to Understanding, Not Passive Learning According to Paulo Freire, a Brazilian educator and philosopher, the current education lacks teacher student communication. In his article he reveals that, Instead of communicating, the teacher issues communiques and makes deposits which the students patiently perceive, memorize, and repeat. This is the banking concept of education, in which the scope of action allowed to the students extends only as far as receiving, filing, and storing the deposits. Basically, Freire s argument is that education should involve student teacher knowledge exchange, rather than the teacher being the one teaching all the time. As someone who is an educator, Freire understands that knowledge is a result of active learning rather than passive learning. He likens the current education to a banking system whereby the teacher just deposits information into the students empty heads. Freire complains that this type of education does not give students the understanding they need to connect the material with reality. In fact, he stresses out that students just memorize what is said by the teacher without understanding the concepts. It was fought in Europe between Germany, Russia, France, Great Britain, the U.S. and many others. However, what is unknown is the cause of WWI. So the question remains, what was the reason for WWI. Alliance systems, militarism, and imperialist were some of the causes that set off the one of the greatest wars in the history of the world. Alliance systems were one of the principal causes of WWI. Aristotle suggests that a tragic hero is a character who has a high social standing and embodies great nobility in his/her personality. In addition, the downfall of a tragic hero is caused by fault of their own, often through arrogance or pride, as the result of free will. Valla then argues that if the clergy are to be treated like senators then there should be mention of the clergy being given senatorial garb, which there is not. Valla then demonstrates his knowledge of classical antiquity by illustrating the various aspects of structural classist fashion such as the color purple. Carrying on, Valla also uses the geography of classical antiquity to expose the forger.
