The organization provides full-service support to help schools align their curriculum, instruction, assessments, and staff development to state standards. This includes developing common curriculum documents for each grade and subject, formative assessments, and software for tracking student performance. The process is intended to help teachers understand standards and improve instruction, with the goal of increasing the number of students meeting state standards by 30% or more based on results elsewhere.

1. What We Are
We are a full-service partner—we follow the work of Doug Reeves, Larry Lezotte, Mike Schmoker, Rick Stiggins
and others to work with your staff to:
 We provide an assessment system that includes staff development to ensure teacher understanding of
and ability to assess state standards, along with software to assess, analyze, monitor and report student
progress.
 Ensure local curriculum, instruction, and assessment are completely aligned to state standards and
assessment program
 Produce common, aligned curriculum documents for every grade level and course taught in a district
 Provide for web-based access to said curriculum documents for ease of developing, editing, publishing,
and communicating with staff and parents those documents
 Ensure faculty understanding of and mastery of the content required by the Illinois assessment system
 Develop common local formative assessments that are aligned to the state goals and assessment
frameworks
 Provide for local design, printing, and scoring of electronic or on-line answer sheets for common
formative assessments
 Incorporate rubric design into electronic or on-line answer sheets and scoring
 Provide instant scoring and reporting services via internet that emails teacher immediately of scores by
strand (Instructional Objective)
 Electronic reporting format that reports not only passing and failing scores on the assessments
themselves but further break out the scores by Instructional Objectives, thus allowing the re-teaching
loop to allow for addressing exact skill deficits
 Automatically email parents of student performance results on common local assessments if requested
 Provide the common, formative assessments required by the new Response to Interventions
assessment process in a seamless manner
This process has been used elsewhere and has produced:
