This document outlines various metrics and issues that a ward incharge should monitor on a daily, quarterly, and yearly basis. For daily monitoring, it identifies patient volume, wait times, and service issues at ambulatory areas, as well as conducting rounds, domestic management, and service issues at inpatient areas. Quarterly, the ward incharge should monitor quality metrics, staff satisfaction rates, turnover rates, and hold staff forums. Annually, the ward incharge should conduct a leadership assessment and audit their employee evaluation system.
