Educators at Isikhokelo Primary School in South Africa received training on using Talking Stories laptop programs to teach children without using mice. The children learned to clean through stories on the laptops and were then able to complete related worksheets independently with the help of the sound-based laptop instructions. One week later, the children did not want to leave school at the end of the day because they were having so much fun learning to read with the Talking Stories programs.

Rebecca Dickinson created the senior slideshow for her high school as her senior project. She has loved photography since she received her first camera in high school. The slideshow portrayed the school year chronologically using pictures from the yearbook and those she took herself. Creating the slideshow was challenging due to learning how to use the video editing software and including all seniors. Through the project, Rebecca improved her time management and communication skills, though she plans to continue photography as a hobby rather than career.

Why I Love My iPad
Sixth graders at Marin Country Day School love their iPads for several reasons:
1) The iPads are light and portable, making them convenient to use in class and carry between classes.
2) The iPads have many educational apps that make learning fun and help students study subjects like languages, math, and other subjects.
3) Apps like Pages, Notes, and I Studiez Pro help students stay organized and manage their schedules both in school and at home.
