4.1 Dual Education System
One approach to attract young workers is the implementation of the dual education
system in the company. The systems combine both theory and practical experience.
Students in this system attend universities specially designed for dual education. In
their actual semester break the students work in the partner company.
The system has enjoyed great popularity in recent years in Germany, as Figure 5
indicates.

The blue graph shows the number of students studying in the dual education system
in Germany. Between mid 2012 and mid 2014, the number increased significantly
from about 65,000 students to 95,000. The green graph illustrates the number of
companies offering a dual education programme. Despite a short decrease in 2011,

53. Stockholm Syndrome
This documentary caught my attention right from the opening lines. People, in
general, do not like to admit when they are wrong, so when the narrator began by
claiming that the entire set of beliefs he had grown up with and lived his life by
were wrong and untrue it made me stop and consider how that would affect a person.
To have your entire way of thinking be proven invalid would be an unsettling
situation to put it simply. I could not begin to imagine how that would feel, but I tried
to keep this thoughtin mind as I continued with the rest of the documentaryas it

I can t say that I honestly enjoyed watching it, but then again that is not the point of a
documentary such as this. This documentary, although not the most exciting to
watch, forces you to constantly evaluate and consider the information being
presented to you. There were times I would have to rewind just to give my thoughts
a second to catch up, and in that sense, the film fully accomplished its goal. In
discussing complicated ideas such as education, employment, and obedience it
showed me just how narrow my scope of the world is, and I think I can better
understand what the narrator meant and how he felt when he said: almost everything

54. ILMEA During My High School Career
Goals, for some people it can be being under the Friday Night lights, or being on
the court, shooting the winning basket for your team. Regardless of what your
goal is, it usually takes a lot of time, hard work and effort to get there. It requires a
lot of falling down in order to get better and come back up that much stronger. For
some, it comes easy, their talent or skill is inept or they are a natural at whatever it
is that they are doing. For others, their skill is challenging for them, or they have to
work at is constantly to maintain or better themselves in the skill. Nevertheless a goal

Each fall kids from the nine different districts audition for a spot in the district band,
choir, orchestra, or jazz band. Then, the best kids from those auditions move on to
advance to the district festivals. At these festivals kids have the opportunity to play
with some of the best musicians from their area. From there, the best kids in the
state get to advance to the state level, where they combine all of the districts to
create the ILMEA All State divisions of the district groups. This year was the first
year that All State, which has always been open to just Juniors and Seniors, opened
the application process to Sophomores. They made this announcement at the district

55. Stereotypes Of Pitbulls
Many people have this stereotype about Pit bulls being a dangerous and
unpredictable type of breed. It is true that a majority of people think that pitbulls
can be dangerous but then there are a majority of them that think they are sweet
loveable dogs. A quick statistic from Pitbullinfor.org states that 20% of the 90
million dogs/breeds are Pitbull s ( Accurate Statistics and Information, 2018). In
my paper I ll be talking about both sides of the stereotype of this breed. Also, I ll be

When still living in Fargo, I would volunteer six hours of my time per week at 4
Luv of Dogs . This humane society worked more with the Pitbull breed. The dogs
that where there were the sweetest, most loving dogs I ve ever met in my life.
While volunteering there I came across different types of behaviors with them,
some were scared to be touched because they were beaten by their previous owners,
or terrified by other dogs because they were used for dog fighting. I also came across
loving ones that all they wanted was to be in your lap and have kisses, hugs, and tons
of belly rubs. I also, own a Pitbull mix, named Akira. Akira is so sweet and gentle.
She weights 65lbs and thinks she s a lap dog, and will drown you in her

56. Reflection Paper On My Diet
Summary I had such an unhealthy diet before but my diet has changed since I
made a few plans for the Journal #1. And I was pretty good to keep it until when I
just finished the Journal #2. Most of them are going pretty well still now too but
recently I have something wrong on my diet again. Even if I did not plan such a
big thing, to keep everything that I planned was a little difficult because I had
been having the unhealthy diet for a pretty long time which means it takes time to
change my old habits. I just realized that I am getting to return to my old habit and
I have to plan again to improve it. Challenges I realized that I am getting to return
to my old diet habits and I was thinking about what cause that. And I think the
reason could be my schedule of the school because I realized that I usually take
food at home or school and I do not take an instant food at home anymore. It means
the school is the only place that I take food except for home. One of my challenges
that I made was that taking a breakfast and I still keep that because I could buy
homemade Korean food that composed of a light soup with a few side dishes
which are very healthy food for every week. But at the school, I always have two
classes that from 8 or 9 a.m. to around 3 or 4 p.m. during the weekdays and I should
take a lunch at school. But, in the school I do not have many choices for food. So, I
just take food for satiety and I cannot digest well and it also cause that I take dinner
at late night.
