Ulpanian Vs Ulpanius
Furthermore, Ulpanian and his contemporaries speak of adolescents, under twenty five years of age,
being under the general direction and advice of curators, as a notorious principle of law at the time.
The establishment of this general rule is attributed by Capitolinus to the emperor M. Aurelius in a
passage which is subject to series of discussions. Savigny argues as follows Up to the time of Marcus
Aurelius there were only three cases or kinds of Curatorship (Curatela) That which was founded on
the lex Plaetoria, by which a minor who wished to enter into a contract with another, asked the praetor
for a curator, stating the ground or occasion of the petition (reddita causa). One object of the
application was, to save the other contracting

Omni-Tech 1000 Essay
This report is a description of the methods and results of the Omni Tech 1000 wireless heart rate
monitor study and a presentation of our recommendation to the Omni Tech Executive team. The
members of this project are three Omni Tech engineers: John Horsney, Tim Maloney, and Amanda
Brownstein. The Omni Tech 1000 consists of a belt worn around the chest of a cyclist, which transmits
a wireless heart rate signal to a computer/receiver on the handlebars. This currently uses DSRC.
DSRC is also known by the name Wi Fi 802.11b. John Horsney was approached by the Sales and
Marketing leads of Omni Tech sometime in early April in regard to a technical problem with this. The
wireless signal between the chest belt and the receiver goes out during use,

In the Wake of the Plague
Norman F. Cantor, In the Wake of the Plague (New York: Harper Collins First Perennial edition, 2001)
examines how the bubonic plague, or Black Death, affected Europe in the fourteenth century. Cantor
recounts specific events in the time leading up to the plague, during the plague, and in the aftermath of
the plague. He wrote the book to relate the experiences of victims and survivors and to illustrate the
impact that the plague had on the government, families, religion, the social structure, and art.
To illustrate some of the political upheaval due to the Black Death, a good example Cantor uses is the
story of the Plantagenets. If the Black Death had not killed so many peasants who made up the army,
the Plantagenets may have become ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
57).
Cantor details how the plague changed social structure. The plague killed so many peasants that the
remaining peasants were demanding lower rents and higher wages. There was a peasant revolt in 1381
which almost eliminated the royal government. Richard II had some of the peasant leaders killed, and
the revolt was shut down. The result was a further divide between the classes. Wealthier peasants were
able to take advantage of the social dislocation caused by the plague, and poorer peasants sank further
into dependence and misery (p. 90 91). Peasants had formerly identified their place in society by who
their lord was. Now that their world of feudalism was vanishing, they felt displaced, confused and
anxious (p. 100). Violence, drunkenness, and physical accidents were prevalent (p. 95).
Cantor highlights some of the effects that the Black Death had on religion. The plague had a huge
impact on the church because almost forty percent of parish clergy had died from the plague. The
change was made to ordain priests at age twenty instead of twenty five, and a priest could take over a
church at age twenty. Fifteen year olds could receive monastic vows, instead of having to wait until
they were twenty. These were undereducated and inexperienced people (p. 206) and this indirectly
contributed to the spread of the Lollards, who were radical heretics (p.207)
The Lollards attacked the morality of the church, and the

Media Views On Climate Change
The carbon dioxide levels in the 20th century have been highest in 650,000 years. Till 1950, the levels
rose by 11% and recently the levels have risen by 40%. Arctic ice is melting rapidly. It is estimated
that by 2040 the region is to have a completely ice free summer, or even earlier. More than 1 million
species have become extinct due to disappearing habitats caused due to global warming. Sea levels
have risen about 7 inches in the last 100 years, which is more than the previous 2000 years combined.
The rising sea levels due to global warming could threaten the lives of people living along the coastal
areas. The consumption of fossil fuels in last few decades has contributed much to the destruction of
our environment. Global warming, climate ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
On one side of the argument we have we have scientists, who recognise that climate change is present
in our society today and realise the importance of direct action. They provide us with important and
relevant data and statistics that are evidence that climate change is real.
On the other side of the argument we have anti climate change activists, who are sceptical about the
issue of climate change. They argue that climate change is an attention seeking stunt, and financial
recognition of an irrelevant sector of the science community. Often just trying to convince people that
climate change is a hoax.
Media coverage of climate change has effects on public attitude on the issue, as it mediates scientific
opinion on climate change. The media uses interactions between climate science, policy, statistical
scientific texts, data, scientific language and the appearances of scientific personalities. Such as work
and stories from scientists that are personally known. It is clear that science and policy shape media
reporting and public understanding. Whether people believe in it or not is their

Dr Temple Grandin Analysis
Society has created an environment where those with different abilities struggle to be accepted. Doctor
Temple Grandin is a remarkable woman who has defied what most perceive when they see someone
with autism. From the time, Temple was young she proved doctors wrong. While in boarding school
and later in college a few of her professors did not believe her observations or in her work with cattle.
They simply did not comprehend the enormous amount of detail her brain absorbed and her
connection to animals which allowed her to gain access to this knowledge. Temple did not let autism
outline her life or what her life ought to be like.
At the age of four Temple was non verbal. This was when she was diagnosed with autism. Doctors
insisted the proper ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
One example was bullying, which is rising in our school systems today. As someone who was bullied,
I admire her for persevering her dreams which was what she believed to be a better solution for
slaughtering cattle. Which she believed this was a system that was not as perfect as it could be.
Always following her gut for change even though several people seemed to not care to change and
preferred it to stay the way it was. This was not an easy task and more difficult when so many around
her did not believe in her. However, she focused more on those who did support her and tried to ignore
the negativity. Her bravery to march into a slaughterhouse to see how improvements could be made is
something I would assume to be impossible. It took courage for her to continue to go to the feedlot
even after workers put bull testicles on her truck. Though, who accepted her and could see her
amazing gift, they did not always understand how her mind worked but they accepted her for who she
was. Others soon realized what a unique ability she had. Such as, the reporter from the Arizona
Farmer Ranchman who said her cattle dip was a

Ella Fitzgerald
Ella Fitzgerald The Gold Collection
The overall illusion of Ella Fitzgerald s The Gold Collection album is a reflection of the trials and
tribulations of love. The collection consists of many tracks that have passionate lyrical value, that the
words instantly relate to those moments in life when you are struggling with devotion for a significant
other. The album is arranged in a precise manner, where those melancholy and heartrending songs are
preceded by upbeat, catchy tunes, that even with the gloomy lyrics, make you want to return to your
childhood, where everything was simple and uncomplicated.
Certain songs, like Angel Heart and Sophisticated Love are prime examples of the slow, and
remorseful songs where Ella s strong ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Other songs on the album are the perfect contrast to compliment the unhappy songs of love and
tenderness. A tisket A tasket is such a silly song, that although the lyrics are simple and repetitive, it
makes you feel like you are a little five year old child, with no cares in the world. This song
immediately puts a smile on your face, and makes you want to tap and bob your head to the beat. The
last track, Just a Simple Melody is also one of those cheerful songs, that has minimal lyrical value, but
the moderate quick pace, and the extensive play on the syllables of words and consonants makes you
laugh. The rhyming of the verses is an effective quality, that puts the words right into your mouth, and
sooner than you can believe, you re singing along to the lively music.
One difference from the beginning of the album to the end, is that the first half concentrates more on
Ella s voice, while the second half is a larger concentration of arrangements with instrumental bands.
In the beginning, you get to listen more to tunes where there is more emphasis on the lyrics, and the
instrumentalists are only background accompaniment to Ella. However, in the second portion there is
more of a sharing of the role, where the band has solos and Ella mimics the tune of the band with her
singing. The difference provides good variety to the album, where you get a taste of both worlds with

News On Foreign News And Its Impact On Society s View On...
Thinking of a question related to news was difficult because I am a journalism major and news is a hot
topic within my major. News is a very broad statement and can mean many different things. It also
brings all kinds of questions to mind. Originally I went with a broad question that later turned into a
very specific topic making the research much easier. My first question was, How does news based in
the United States effect societies views on other countries? How does foreign news affect their
societies view on the United States? By trying to find simple research on this through the MU Library,
I was quick to find that in order to write a successful research paper it is vital to have a more specific
question to get the answers you want. I was not finding specific research that included specific
information on foreign news and its societal affects.
After some struggles, one article popped out to me about news on foreign countries and their economy
so I decided to look at how the positive and negative news written about a foreign country later effects
that economy. My question then became, How does an article written in a specific country affect the
economy of a foreign nation? For example, if a news program based in the United States were to write
an article about China, how would that article truly affect the economy of China. It has been seen that
news can change the perspective of the way people see the world and all that goes on among the
economic leaders. By

It Is Not The Strongest Of The Species That Survive
According to Charles Darwin, It is not the strongest of the species that survive, or the most intelligent,
but the one most responsive to change , (Brainy Quotes) pertains to Pat Franks Alas, Babylon, all of
the characters are forced to change and adapt to the new life after a nuclear attack. They are forced to
fight for survival and find new sources of food and also the most basic necessity, water. The main
character Randy Bragg, is forced to take charge of his small community that is made up of his close
neighbors, but he also instructed by the government to set up a makeshift law because he is in the
reserves. This book was written when racial equality was a major issue and Randy s neighbors are
African American, in a nice area of Florida called Fort Repose. The black family, The Henry s, were
originally slaves for Randy s ancestors and had bought just four acres at the east boundary of the
Bragg s grove. Randy feels confident about having black neighbors and how they work together to
improve both of their lives in the process of working together. Randy and all of his neighbors, include
his black neighbors, work together to improve their life after the nuclear attack and survive from day
to day. Randy s brother, Mark, wife and children are sent to live with Randy as soon as his brother
hears that a nuclear attack is coming. They use the code words Alas, Babylon to communicate that an
attack is coming and his family is coming down to Florida. You will see in the book

Analysis Of A Thousand Splendid Suns
On the other hand, Khaled Hosseini employs an open plot structure in A Thousand Splendid Suns in
order to comment on the effect of assiduity on the possibility of escaping an oppressive environment.
In A Thousand Splendid Suns, Hosseini illustrates his narrative through the parallel plotline of his two
protagonists Mariam and Laila to design an open, chronological plot structure. Through the first
sentence of A Thousand Splendid Suns, Hosseini establishes that Mariam was five years old the first
time she heard the word harami (Hosseini 3). Hosseini s purposeful decision of introducing his main
character before all other elements such as the setting and supporting characters illustrates his
protagonists significance in the construction of the plot structure s foundation. In order to establish an
open, chronological plot structure, Hosseini constantly reminds the readers of the progression of time
through the inclusion of the year and Mariam s age. For instance, in the exposition of chapter five,
Hosseini declares, It was the spring of 1974, the year Mariam turned fifteen (Hosseini 25). Then in
chapter fifteen the last chapter of the first part Hosseini once again states, On April 17, 1978, the year
Mariam turned nineteen... (Hosseini 97). Hosseini purposely includes the date along with Mariam s
increasing age throughout the chapters for the readers to become cognizant of the novel s
chronological format. In addition to illustrating the progression of time through Mariam, Hosseini also
mirrors the same structure for his second protagonist, Laila. In the second part of A Thousand
Splendid Suns, Hosseini prefaces the chapter with the header Kabul, Spring 1987. Immediately below
the header, Hosseini begins the chapter by stating, Nine year old Laila rose from bed, as she did most
morning, hungry for the sight of her friend Tariq (Hosseini 107). By introducing Laila through the
identical structure utilized when first presenting Mariam, Hosseini provides hints of his wish for
readers to juxtapose the two females. Furthermore, by introducing nine year old Laila twenty three
years after the introduction of five year old Mariam, Hosseini was able to illustrate Laila s plotline in
relation to Mariam s

at the college level is mostly dependent on the availability of textbooks. Whether for the Science or

Geographical Information System ( Gis )
Water withdrawal is the amount of water taken from the ground or surface water source and water use
is defined as the water which is withdrawn for specific purposes, such as domestic, irrigation,
industrial etc. With increasing population and climate change effects, the demands for water resources
are increased; as a result, ground water and surface water withdrawals become very important. Water
resources are essential for public use, power generation, agricultural production, recreation and so on.
However, increasing effects of climate change and population growth cause sustained water shortages
in the some regions of United States. Unfortunately, in some states, water demand has exceeded the
water supply. Thus, it is very important to know past and current water withdrawal amounts to shape
policy for wise use and management of water. Therefore, visual geospatial display of water
withdrawal data with a geographical information system (GIS) is an essential tool to address the issues
related to water resources. Geographical information system (GIS) is a combination of a graphic
presentation and database. It is a general purpose technology that uses geographic data in digital form.
The abilities of GIS include processing the data into a form, which is suitable for analysis, supporting
spatial analysis and modeling, and post processing results. Moreover, it can give spatial representation
of water resources systems and bring spatial dimensions into the water resource

Investigating the Rate of Reaction Between Marble Chips...
Investigating the rate of reaction between Marble Chips (Calcium Carbonate) and hydrochloric acid
Aim.
In the investigation I am going to find out how the surface area affects the rate of reaction by
measuring the amount of gas produced and weight loss in a reaction between small/large pieces of
Marble
Chips (Calcium Carbonate) and Hydrochloric acid per minute.
Hypothesis.
The rate of reaction increases when the surface area of a solid reactant is increased. This happens
because by increasing the surface area we are also increasing the rate of collisions between the
particles. When there is more of the reactant to react with the reaction speeds up. Therefore, my
hypothesis is: the reaction will be faster when using small ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This increased the accuracy of the obtained results.
GRAPH
From the table of results and the graphs I can deduce that by increasing the surface area the rate at
which the gas was produced also increased. The line which represented the amount of gas given off on
the graph was steeper in the test using powder therefore the gas was produced at a faster rate. Roughly
the same amount of gas was produced in all tests. Therefore my hypothesis was correct.
Evaluation.
As I repeated the experiment 3 times and worked out the average rate of reaction in each test, I think
my results are quite reliable.
However, I could make further improvement by increasing the number of tests and taking the results
with a smaller gap such as 10 seconds instead of 20. I could also increase the amount of Calcium
Carbonate to more than 2g and keep the

Essay on School Violence
On April 20, 1999 Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold opened fire on Columbine Highschool killing
twelve fellow classmates and one teacher. School violence changes our youths morals. From bullying
to peer pressure, youth are exposed to school violence everyday. What is school violence? School
violence varies from accounts of death, homicide, suicide, weapon related violence, in the US. (c1)
School violence can occur to and from school, while attending a school sponsored event, on a bus, or
at an activity.
Violence in school goes back to the 1800s . The first publicly funded schools for delinquents was built
in Massachussettes during 1847. In 1899 Illinois established the first statewide court for children .

The Creation Of A Hip Hop Music Genre
Hip Hop
The music that truly inspires who I am today would have to be hip hop. The genre itself has been
around for generations and many more to come. Let alone of the sheer diversity of the genre. Also, the
variations each rapper, emcee, etc. to bring to the genre makes it so much larger than people may think
about it. Last, but not least hip hop has a lot of culture and its only been around since 1979.
First, of all the genre hip hop is truly diverse open to any and of all ethnicities to join the genre.
Another reason, is that hip hop has very nice production from the G funk era, to the trap era that is of
the present. Furthermore, people may think hip hop is only rap, but that isn t true. Hip hop can be

The Poultry Farming Is The Most Popular Industry For The...
Introduction: The poultry industry has become the most popular industry for the small holders with
tremendous contribution in the world and employment opportunities creation (Adebayo and Adeola,
2005; Okonkwo and Akubo, 2001). Therefore, it is important that poultry farming be carried out
efficiently for high productivity and sustainability of the poultry industry. It has been established that
feeding constitutes over that a estimate of 70% of the total cost of egg and broiler production
(Afolayan and Afolayan, 2008) which implies that efforts to increase Ghana poultry industry
productivity should be directed towards improving feed formulation system. This lab report seeks to
apply mathematical optimization techniques to the feed ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Every year the marketing age of broilers decreases by an average of 0.75 days for the same
performance. The problem is recognized as optimizing cost factor, which depends on constraints
(ingredients of the feed) and could be solved by Deterministic Linear Programming Model, (DLPM)
or Mixed Integer Programming, (MIP). This trend is likely to continue in the same direction for the
coming years. Nutrition plays a vital role in enabling this improvement. As the feed cost represents an
expensive input (70 80% of broiler production cost), the poultry producer should be aware of the
dynamics of the feed in its influence on final product quantity and quality. Formulating feed ideally
requires in depth knowledge of several parameters such as the energy level to be maintained in the
diet, balancing the amino acid profile and electrolytes of feed etc., which, otherwise, if not properly
monitored, could negatively influence the performance and profitability of the business.
Many poultry farmers, however, employ inefficient methods like rule of thumb, experiences, and
intuition to handle feed formulation problem. The poultry industry has a significant effect on national
economy; it is a popular industry for the small holders. The aim of this lab report is to develop an
optimization feed formulation model, using locally available feed ingredients, for the poultry industry.

The Future For Trade Unions
1. The future for trade unions Trade unions have played a crucial role in developing a democratic
society in terms of monitoring and enforcement in the areas of wages and employment conditions.
(Landau et al 2014, ????) It has been argued that the Industrial Commission gave Australia both
political and competitive advantage and provided both members and non members, significant
workplace gains throughout most of the 20th century. (Ref) Whilst not formally united with the
Australian Labour Party (ALP), the Australian Council of Trade Unions (ACTU) has sustained close
association with it. The ACTU has played a critical role in Australian politics. Bob Hawke was
president of the ACTU from 1970 to 1980, and went on to become labour prime minister from 1983 to

STRATEGIC AND OPERATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES
FORECASTED YEARS: 2013 2015
Prepared by Dev Das, CMA
Memorandum
November 14, 2013
TO: Paul and Sam Livoria
From: Dev Das, CMA
Subject: Strategic and Operational opportunities
Livoria Sandwiches faces major changes within the food industry in Dawkins. The city is in
continuing growth and expansion, being ranked as the fastest growing number of vegetarians in the
country.
Currently Livoria faces a cash shortfall due to a lawsuit. The menu has to be adapted to the market
demand fast to keep up with the changes. The owners expressed the desire of having 1.1M in net
profit by 2015. The goal can be reached ONLY by changing and ... Show more content on

Direct material is cheaper therefore a higher contribution margin can be generated.
Appendix 4 changing the sale mix in favor of the sandwiches that bring more profitability per limited
resource, Livoria is going to be able not only to meet demand but it will meet owners preference of
minimum 1.1M by 2015 and increased cash flow. Changing the sales mix there are some aspects that
must be considered: contribution margin per limited resource and popularity of the products.
No capital investment is required.
Cons:
Sandwiches for which Livoria is well known for might disappear from the menu by 2015, (losses in
loyal customers). Veal cutlet sandwiches demand can be satisfied in proportion of 77% in 2013
[67,028/86,333 units], 90% in 2014 [78,710/87,283 units] and disappear completely in 2015 from the
menu (app.4)
Limitation in number of employees Livoria can hire is a constraint against more growth possibility.
Livoria can satisfy only 83% of demand in 2013, 87% in 2014 and 70% in 2015. (app.4)
Livoria will change its current business success core (meat sandwiches) in favor of vegetarian one.
Risk: Direct material is more perishable and as main ingredients, quality is a key risk for business.

Building A Successful Business Empire
INTRODUCTION;
All businesses aim to be successful and well off; but this does not just happen by the snap of your
fingers, rather needs to be organized in each possible step.
One of the main steps to this is; management. Thus, I shall begin by defining and explaining what
management itself is.
Management according to Management Innovations, 2008, is the process of reaching organizational
goals by working with and through people and other organizational resources . This statement
basically says that when a company wans to achieve certain goal(s), they will have to work together as
a team so that everything is organized, and the team must have a leader to rule it in the correct path.
Whilst managing the company, there needs to be full ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
MANAGEMENT PHILOSOPHIES; these are different strategies that leaders choose to use to lead
their group, so that they would be motivated to work and how each employee should be treated. The
main function of management philosophy is to make the decision making process fast and efficient.
(Management Philosophy, Business Dictionary, 2015)
A couple of management philosophies are classical management, behavioral management,
quantitative, systems, contingency and quality.
I will talk about 2 management theories and also about their advantages and disadvantages (pros and
cons).
1) BEHAVIOURAL APPROACH;
This is also known as human relation movement. In this type of school, the theorists believe that they
should try to understand the different factors that may influence the human behavior of an employee at
work. (School of thought management, 2011)
There are some theorists who have investigated onto this theory. one of them is; Elton Mayo; he
believed that workers were not just motivated by they pay they get, but would be more motivated if
their social needs are satisfied alongside working. He concluded by saying that employees work better
in groups, and they are motivated by the good available communication between themselves and their
managers. (Behavioral Management, Cliff Notes, 2015)
Advantages;
a) Work satisfaction; it will motivate them to work hard and will be satisfied since they will be getting
benefits alongside the pay.
b) Increased self

The Use Of Physical Therapy Session After A Slap Surgery...
SLAP is a superior labrum tear in an anterior to posterior direction of the shoulder, affecting more than
4000 people in a year, usually men between the ages of 20 30 and 40 50. The purpose of this case
report is to show the relevance of the amount of physical therapy session after a SLAP surgery repair.
The patient was a 41 year old male kinesiology professor physically active in volleyball, weight
training, and cross fit. The patient was diagnosed to have a SLAP type II tear and micro fracture
visible on an MRI with arthrogram. Outcome measures employed were the QuickDASH for functional
disability symptoms and the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) to report the level of pain. Some of the
interventions used in this case were grade I/II manipulations, pendulum, AROM to associated areas,
cryotherapy, stretching and strengthening exercises, PNF exercises, and closed kinetic chain activities.
After 27 physical therapy visits post surgeries in a period of 6 months the patient reported no
perceived disability to work after 52 weeks. Although, some functional disability was experienced
when it came to general activities and sports between 4 to 13 percent based on the QuickDASH. Pain
levels reported by the VAS remained considerable low. The subject reported pain level between 0 4 on
a 10 scale; pain decreased to zero by week 10. By decreasing the number of therapy visits and
increasing the interval of time off between them, patients might be able to return to the previous level

The Five Concepts Of Marketing Tools And Online Marketing
Task 3
3a Marketing communications are the means by which firms attempt to inform, persuade, and remind
consumers directly or indirectly about the products and brands that they sell. (Kotler and Keller)
Offline marketing is the traditional way of doing marketing that does not involve the use of the
internet. The five elements of the marketing communication mix pertaining to traditional marketing
are;
Advertising Radio, TV, billboards, newspapers, cinema
PR and Events Press conferences and press releases, seminars, sponsorship of arts or cultural events
Direct marketing Flyers, brochures, mail shots
Personal Selling Sales presentation, sales meetings, trade fairs
Promotion Buy one get one free, price off deals, samples, bonus packs
Whereas, the latest addition to the marketing communication mix is Digital Marketing which includes
methods of advertising or promotion using the internet such as SEO, Google Adwords, Mobile
Marketing, Email Marketing and Social Media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter,
Youtube to name a few.

The Zookeeper s Wife Sparknotes
The novel The Zookeeper s Wife begins with readers understanding the lives of the main characters,
Jan, Antonina and their son Ryś. In early September 1939 the Nazis horribly destroyed the routine of
daily life in Warsaw. The city was physically ruined, including many of the zoo s buildings, shelters,
and cages. Many of the innocent animals died in the bombings and the Nazi soldiers savagely
murdered those who survived when they went on a fun killing spree. This caused the famous zoo to
become a destroyed shadow of its former self. With most of the cages left abandoned, Jan and
Antonina, the zookeepers of the Warsaw zoo, found it necessary to use these shelters as temporary
hiding places for Jews on the run. This safe haven was provided ... Show more content on

Through the fear and terror of the war, Antonina was able to provide some clam and peacefulness to
her guests and family (Ackerman 2007). A specific incident that was truly horrific was when Nazi
soldiers threaten to murder all the people living in the villa. The soldiers ordered everyone to stand
and a straight line, as they pointed their guns at them. At the time, Antonia was pregnant with her
second child and she could barley keep her balance. The soldiers took the Fox Man s fifteen year old
helper behind the shed and a shot was fired. The soldiers then came back and indicated that Ryś was
next. Ryś followed the Nazi behind the shed and another shot was heard. Antonina was in complete
shock as devastation overcame her. Then all of a sudden, the Nazis told the boys to come out with the
dead chicken. It turns out this was a game played by the soldiers in order to frighten the family. This
horrific game shows the truly evil intentions of the Nazi soldiers, and the physical and emotion torture
they caused their victims (Ackerman 2007). Unfortunately in July 1942, the Nazis began liquidating
the Warsaw Ghetto by shipping hundreds of thousands of Jews to the death camp Treblinka. The war
raged on, but by the following June a true miracle had occurred. Antonia gave birth to her daughter
Teresa, who was a blessing and ray of hope amongst so much terror, cruelty, and death. The

Prostitution Laws On Judeo Christian Morality
Western countries like the United States base many of their prostitution laws on Judeo Christian
morality, which discourages the act of selling sex due to the belief that sex is sacred in creating life,
however many theorists disagree due to its singular concern. With Fondation Scelles reporting that
80% of prostitutes in the world are women aged between 13 and 25, and the political inclusion of the
right to an individual s personal liberty, the debate of prostitution serves to be a pluralized issue in
consideration of feminist and libertarian perspectives. Discussions of the pluralism in the prostitution
debate is evident in Canada, with the Supreme Court ruling that it is no longer illegal to sell sex,
however it is a crime to buy sex, in an effort to protect the women who are being exploited into sex
trafficking. Despite the government s contributions to remove the stigma of sex workers, rather than
more criminal roles like pimps, the morally problematic exploitation of women in sex trafficking
continues to exist. Therefore, the government has an ethical responsibility to legalize and control the
sex trade based on its application to consequentialist concerns with health and safety, libertarian views
on personal autonomy and female entitlement and empowerment, and its comparison to the legal
pornography industry. The morality of prostitution has been debated due to its existence in nearly all
cultures in history, therefore the major positions need to be discussed.

The Chemistry Within Oncology And Cancer
Cancer has become an epidemic across America. About 13 million Americans have cancer and a little
over 1 million are diagnosed every year. For years Oncologist have been looking for treatments to cure
this horrible disease(American Cancer Society, 2013). Chemistry has such a major impact on the
research of cancer. The chemistry within Oncology Cancer Research has greatly increased our
knowledge and capabilities for developing new treatments or actually finding a significant cure
(American Cancer Society,2013). This paper is explaining how chemistry is used to seek out cancer
cells, treat, and also inform how the different chemicals are affecting our body.
Firstly, Temperatures can have a significant effect on cancer. A cold environment can speed up the
growth of cancer cells within the body. When your body is cold it starts to react differently by
gradually going into survival mode, making your blood vessels narrow in order to
maintain body heat or our extremities will start to suffer. (Nordqvist, 2013) The process of
hyperthermia is used in two different ways. Local hyperthermia or Whole body
hyperthermia(American Cancer Society,2013). Local hyperthermia uses very high temperatures that
can destroy the DNA of tumors that are cancerous. High temperatures can also kill or injure normal
cells and tissues in your body. Regional or whole body hypothermia is raising the temperature, to part
or the whole body,by a few degrees than normal. The BX Energy Catalyst is

For Most People, The Name Aaron Hernandez Was Synonymous
For most people, the name Aaron Hernandez was synonymous with a sports superstar. As a college
player with the University of Florida, Hernandez was an All American player and a member of the
BCS National Championship Team. He was drafted by the New England Patriots in 2010, where he
became the youngest active player on any roster in the NFL. He seemed destined for greatness, as one
of only two tight end players on one of the leading teams in the NFL. During the 2010 season, he was

and by his third year with the NFL he received the highest signing bonus of NFL tight end in history.

Hernandez not only emulated his father s sports star status, but also became involved with criminals
and began using drugs. These lifestyle choices almost prevented him from attaining success as an
athlete. Despite his obvious talents, NFL teams were wary of drafting Hernandez due to his admitted
flunking of a drug test. Privately, many teams also worried about his association with gang types from
his home neighborhood. He fell to the fourth round in the 2010 NFL draft before the New England
Patriots selected him with the 113th overall pick (Bio, 2015).
Professional Career Once drafted, Hernandez quickly proved his merit as a professional football
player. He had 45 catches in his rookie year, which was a team record for tight ends, helping the
Patriots secure the AFC Championship. In his second year, along with Rob Gronkowski, he led the
Patriot offense with 24 touchdowns and 2,237 receiving yards, helping secure his team s position in
Super Bowl XLVI. He was injured in his third year, but was still positioned to become a team leader,
which was recognized by the Patriots with his sizable signing bonus (A E, 2015).
Legal Problems Although he would not be indicted for murder until 2013, Hernandez s legal problems
began as early as 2007, while he was still a student at the University of Florida. It was then that

A PIP does not have to be the same as the tax year. PIPs can be different between pension schemes and
can be changed by an individual. For new pensions started after the 6th April 2011, a PIP will
automatically end on the 5th April. It is important to understand that PIPs are only used for the Annual
Allowance and any contributions made to a scheme will still be eligible for tax relief in the tax year
that they are made.

Clash Of Kings Setting
As a reader objects and settings in books are key elements to make the story limpid. Without elements
such as the setting or the main objects in a book a story has no allure. A story without any key objects
would be like Texas Chainsaw Massacre without any chainsaws. Likewise a story without a setting
would be like walking through an art gallery without any art. ☺ These elements are essential whether
writing about science fiction, or writing about love, without them there is no real rhyme or reason to
the story. The book I am reading, A Clash of Kings by George R. R. Martin, has vivid depictions of
the setting and objects that are key to the story. A few I will focus on will be the object Wildfire, and

The first setting that will be elaborated on will be the area beyond the Wall. As Jon Snow and the other
men from the Night s Watch express the area beyond the Wall is as unforgiving as the Wall itself. Jon
explained his observations of the weather in this way, a gust of wind sent wet leaves flapping round
them like a flock of dead birds. The haunted forest, Jon thought ruefully, The drowned forest, more
like it (Martin 354). The way Jon expresses the weather around him is crucial to explaining the setting.
Not only does he tell us what the place is known for he also tells us that this place has a very unique
appearance. The haunted forest gives us the illusion of dark shadows, gloomy atmosphere, and tall
trees with gnarled vines. All of these things can be explained by the one phrase. In addition to gloomy
atmosphere there is his statement about how it should be called the drowned forest which indicates
that there is probably lots of water and it is possibly raining very heavily making a dreary and gloomy
place even more so. Without these phrases to describe the setting they are in the story would be bland
and not near as exciting. If we did not have this setting there would be no nerve racking feelings or

1992 Presidential Election Campaign Analysis
During his acceptance speech in 1988, Republican Vice President, George H. W. Bush, said, read my
lips, no new taxes (Bush as cited by Matthews, 2004). Unfortunately, in the wake of financial pressure
President Bush in 1990 implemented a new tax on the American people. The failure to honor this
declaration brought into question President Bush s credibility and trust, and ultimately followed him to
the 1992 Presidential Election (Jamieson, 1996). However minimal the phrase, the impact of his
trustworthiness plagued Bush to the ballot box costing him reelection. The presence of credibility,
likability, and charisma in a political candidate are precious characteristics needed in the electoral
process.
These characteristics have the power to move voters in an electoral process and ignite action

Disadvantages Of FFT Implementation
FFT is very well developed in software but still a need to study on realizing it on hardware subsists.
Its primary advantage is the fact that the hardware implementation of FFT generally has more than one
computations running in parallel, while in the software implementation a single step is processed at
once. Therefore, a FFT hardware can have large amount of data running through the circuit in
comparison to those of sequential circuits as realized by software. 16 Point FFT Implementation: A

What Makes A Person Whole And Morally Sound
Virtues are what make a person whole and morally sound, they are the good that can come from
behavior or result from something (Dictionary.com). Romans believed that these were what a mortals
life was based off of. The Aeneid Virgil includes many of the virtues that the Romans value, one being
magnitudo animi. Magnitudo animi translates to greatness of the soul. This greatness of the soul is
what a person has from the inside and makes them deal with the hardest decisions or the easiest. They
persevere and in the end come out great. One person or demi god that represents magnitudo animi is
Aenas from The Aeneid. Aenas deals with his struggles and remembers what it means to have this
virtue and is the best example of this. In The Aeneid it goes through the story of Aeneas and Dido.
Aeneas deals with his journey to find Rome due to his destiny and in the course of this meets Dido,
the Queen of Carthage (Line 15 16 Virgil). Dido is so infatuated when she first sees Aeneas that she
instantly wants to break her vow to her dead husband of never being with another man; I recognize the
signs of the old flame, of old desire. But O chaste life, before I break your laws, I pray that earth may

  • 2. Ulpanian Vs Ulpanius Furthermore, Ulpanian and his contemporaries speak of adolescents, under twenty five years of age, being under the general direction and advice of curators, as a notorious principle of law at the time. The establishment of this general rule is attributed by Capitolinus to the emperor M. Aurelius in a passage which is subject to series of discussions. Savigny argues as follows Up to the time of Marcus Aurelius there were only three cases or kinds of Curatorship (Curatela) That which was founded on the lex Plaetoria, by which a minor who wished to enter into a contract with another, asked the praetor for a curator, stating the ground or occasion of the petition (reddita causa). • 4. In the Wake of the Plague Norman F. Cantor, In the Wake of the Plague (New York: Harper Collins First Perennial edition, 2001) examines how the bubonic plague, or Black Death, affected Europe in the fourteenth century. Cantor recounts specific events in the time leading up to the plague, during the plague, and in the aftermath of the plague. He wrote the book to relate the experiences of victims and survivors and to illustrate the impact that the plague had on the government, families, religion, the social structure, and art. To illustrate some of the political upheaval due to the Black Death, a good example Cantor uses is the story of the Plantagenets. If the Black Death had not killed so many peasants who made up the army, the Plantagenets may have become ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... 57). Cantor details how the plague changed social structure. The plague killed so many peasants that the remaining peasants were demanding lower rents and higher wages. There was a peasant revolt in 1381 which almost eliminated the royal government. Richard II had some of the peasant leaders killed, and the revolt was shut down. The result was a further divide between the classes. Wealthier peasants were able to take advantage of the social dislocation caused by the plague, and poorer peasants sank further into dependence and misery (p. 90 91). Peasants had formerly identified their place in society by who their lord was. Now that their world of feudalism was vanishing, they felt displaced, confused and anxious (p. 100). Violence, drunkenness, and physical accidents were prevalent (p. 95). Cantor highlights some of the effects that the Black Death had on religion. The plague had a huge impact on the church because almost forty percent of parish clergy had died from the plague. The change was made to ordain priests at age twenty instead of twenty five, and a priest could take over a church at age twenty. Fifteen year olds could receive monastic vows, instead of having to wait until they were twenty. These were undereducated and inexperienced people (p. 206) and this indirectly contributed to the spread of the Lollards, who were radical heretics (p.207) The Lollards attacked the morality of the church, and the ... Arctic ice is melting rapidly. It is estimated that by 2040 the region is to have a completely ice free summer, or even earlier. More than 1 million species have become extinct due to disappearing habitats caused due to global warming. Sea levels have risen about 7 inches in the last 100 years, which is more than the previous 2000 years combined. The rising sea levels due to global warming could threaten the lives of people living along the coastal areas. The consumption of fossil fuels in last few decades has contributed much to the destruction of our environment. Global warming, climate ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... On one side of the argument we have we have scientists, who recognise that climate change is present in our society today and realise the importance of direct action. They provide us with important and relevant data and statistics that are evidence that climate change is real. On the other side of the argument we have anti climate change activists, who are sceptical about the issue of climate change. They argue that climate change is an attention seeking stunt, and financial recognition of an irrelevant sector of the science community. Often just trying to convince people that climate change is a hoax. Media coverage of climate change has effects on public attitude on the issue, as it mediates scientific opinion on climate change. The media uses interactions between climate science, policy, statistical scientific texts, data, scientific language and the appearances of scientific personalities. • 6. Dr Temple Grandin Analysis Society has created an environment where those with different abilities struggle to be accepted. Doctor Temple Grandin is a remarkable woman who has defied what most perceive when they see someone with autism. From the time, Temple was young she proved doctors wrong. While in boarding school and later in college a few of her professors did not believe her observations or in her work with cattle. They simply did not comprehend the enormous amount of detail her brain absorbed and her connection to animals which allowed her to gain access to this knowledge. Temple did not let autism outline her life or what her life ought to be like. At the age of four Temple was non verbal. This was when she was diagnosed with autism. Doctors insisted the proper ... Always following her gut for change even though several people seemed to not care to change and preferred it to stay the way it was. This was not an easy task and more difficult when so many around her did not believe in her. However, she focused more on those who did support her and tried to ignore the negativity. Her bravery to march into a slaughterhouse to see how improvements could be made is something I would assume to be impossible. It took courage for her to continue to go to the feedlot even after workers put bull testicles on her truck. • 7. Ella Fitzgerald Ella Fitzgerald The Gold Collection The overall illusion of Ella Fitzgerald s The Gold Collection album is a reflection of the trials and tribulations of love. The collection consists of many tracks that have passionate lyrical value, that the words instantly relate to those moments in life when you are struggling with devotion for a significant other. The album is arranged in a precise manner, where those melancholy and heartrending songs are preceded by upbeat, catchy tunes, that even with the gloomy lyrics, make you want to return to your childhood, where everything was simple and uncomplicated. Certain songs, like Angel Heart and Sophisticated Love are prime examples of the slow, and remorseful songs where Ella s strong ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Other songs on the album are the perfect contrast to compliment the unhappy songs of love and tenderness. A tisket A tasket is such a silly song, that although the lyrics are simple and repetitive, it makes you feel like you are a little five year old child, with no cares in the world. This song immediately puts a smile on your face, and makes you want to tap and bob your head to the beat. The last track, Just a Simple Melody is also one of those cheerful songs, that has minimal lyrical value, but the moderate quick pace, and the extensive play on the syllables of words and consonants makes you laugh. The rhyming of the verses is an effective quality, that puts the words right into your mouth, and sooner than you can believe, you re singing along to the lively music. One difference from the beginning of the album to the end, is that the first half concentrates more on Ella s voice, while the second half is a larger concentration of arrangements with instrumental bands. In the beginning, you get to listen more to tunes where there is more emphasis on the lyrics, and the instrumentalists are only background accompaniment to Ella. However, in the second portion there is more of a sharing of the role, where the band has solos and Ella mimics the tune of the band with her singing. The difference provides good variety to the album, where you get a taste of both worlds with emotional description ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 8. News On Foreign News And Its Impact On Society s View On... Thinking of a question related to news was difficult because I am a journalism major and news is a hot topic within my major. News is a very broad statement and can mean many different things. It also brings all kinds of questions to mind. Originally I went with a broad question that later turned into a very specific topic making the research much easier. My first question was, How does news based in the United States effect societies views on other countries? How does foreign news affect their societies view on the United States? By trying to find simple research on this through the MU Library, I was quick to find that in order to write a successful research paper it is vital to have a more specific question to get the answers you want. I was not finding specific research that included specific information on foreign news and its societal affects. After some struggles, one article popped out to me about news on foreign countries and their economy so I decided to look at how the positive and negative news written about a foreign country later effects that economy. My question then became, How does an article written in a specific country affect the economy of a foreign nation? For example, if a news program based in the United States were to write an article about China, how would that article truly affect the economy of China. It has been seen that news can change the perspective of the way people see the world and all that goes on among the economic leaders. By ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 10. Analysis Of A Thousand Splendid Suns On the other hand, Khaled Hosseini employs an open plot structure in A Thousand Splendid Suns in order to comment on the effect of assiduity on the possibility of escaping an oppressive environment. In A Thousand Splendid Suns, Hosseini illustrates his narrative through the parallel plotline of his two protagonists Mariam and Laila to design an open, chronological plot structure. Through the first sentence of A Thousand Splendid Suns, Hosseini establishes that Mariam was five years old the first time she heard the word harami (Hosseini 3). Hosseini s purposeful decision of introducing his main character before all other elements such as the setting and supporting characters illustrates his protagonists significance in the construction of the plot structure s foundation. In order to establish an open, chronological plot structure, Hosseini constantly reminds the readers of the progression of time through the inclusion of the year and Mariam s age. For instance, in the exposition of chapter five, Hosseini declares, It was the spring of 1974, the year Mariam turned fifteen (Hosseini 25). Then in chapter fifteen the last chapter of the first part Hosseini once again states, On April 17, 1978, the year Mariam turned nineteen... (Hosseini 97). Hosseini purposely includes the date along with Mariam s increasing age throughout the chapters for the readers to become cognizant of the novel s chronological format. In addition to illustrating the progression of time through Mariam, Hosseini also mirrors the same structure for his second protagonist, Laila. In the second part of A Thousand Splendid Suns, Hosseini prefaces the chapter with the header Kabul, Spring 1987. Immediately below the header, Hosseini begins the chapter by stating, Nine year old Laila rose from bed, as she did most morning, hungry for the sight of her friend Tariq (Hosseini 107). By introducing Laila through the identical structure utilized when first presenting Mariam, Hosseini provides hints of his wish for readers to juxtapose the two females. Furthermore, by introducing nine year old Laila twenty three years after the introduction of five year old Mariam, Hosseini was able to illustrate Laila s plotline in relation to Mariam s ... Water resources are essential for public use, power generation, agricultural production, recreation and so on. However, increasing effects of climate change and population growth cause sustained water shortages in the some regions of United States. Unfortunately, in some states, water demand has exceeded the water supply. Thus, it is very important to know past and current water withdrawal amounts to shape policy for wise use and management of water. Therefore, visual geospatial display of water withdrawal data with a geographical information system (GIS) is an essential tool to address the issues related to water resources. Geographical information system (GIS) is a combination of a graphic presentation and database. It is a general purpose technology that uses geographic data in digital form. In the investigation I am going to find out how the surface area affects the rate of reaction by measuring the amount of gas produced and weight loss in a reaction between small/large pieces of Marble Chips (Calcium Carbonate) and Hydrochloric acid per minute. Hypothesis. The rate of reaction increases when the surface area of a solid reactant is increased. This happens because by increasing the surface area we are also increasing the rate of collisions between the particles. When there is more of the reactant to react with the reaction speeds up. Therefore, my hypothesis is: the reaction will be faster when using small ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This increased the accuracy of the obtained results. GRAPH From the table of results and the graphs I can deduce that by increasing the surface area the rate at which the gas was produced also increased. The line which represented the amount of gas given off on the graph was steeper in the test using powder therefore the gas was produced at a faster rate. Roughly the same amount of gas was produced in all tests. Therefore my hypothesis was correct. Evaluation. As I repeated the experiment 3 times and worked out the average rate of reaction in each test, I think my results are quite reliable. However, I could make further improvement by increasing the number of tests and taking the results with a smaller gap such as 10 seconds instead of 20. I could also increase the amount of Calcium Carbonate to more than 2g and keep the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The problem is recognized as optimizing cost factor, which depends on constraints (ingredients of the feed) and could be solved by Deterministic Linear Programming Model, (DLPM) or Mixed Integer Programming, (MIP). This trend is likely to continue in the same direction for the coming years. Nutrition plays a vital role in enabling this improvement. The future for trade unions Trade unions have played a crucial role in developing a democratic society in terms of monitoring and enforcement in the areas of wages and employment conditions. (Landau et al 2014, ????) It has been argued that the Industrial Commission gave Australia both political and competitive advantage and provided both members and non members, significant workplace gains throughout most of the 20th century. Prostitution Laws On Judeo Christian Morality Western countries like the United States base many of their prostitution laws on Judeo Christian morality, which discourages the act of selling sex due to the belief that sex is sacred in creating life, however many theorists disagree due to its singular concern. With Fondation Scelles reporting that 80% of prostitutes in the world are women aged between 13 and 25, and the political inclusion of the right to an individual s personal liberty, the debate of prostitution serves to be a pluralized issue in consideration of feminist and libertarian perspectives. Discussions of the pluralism in the prostitution debate is evident in Canada, with the Supreme Court ruling that it is no longer illegal to sell sex, however it is a crime to buy sex, in an effort to protect the women who are being exploited into sex trafficking. Despite the government s contributions to remove the stigma of sex workers, rather than more criminal roles like pimps, the morally problematic exploitation of women in sex trafficking continues to exist. Therefore, the government has an ethical responsibility to legalize and control the sex trade based on its application to consequentialist concerns with health and safety, libertarian views on personal autonomy and female entitlement and empowerment, and its comparison to the legal pornography industry. The morality of prostitution has been debated due to its existence in nearly all cultures in history, therefore the major positions need to be discussed. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Pensions Input Periods A PIP does not have to be the same as the tax year. PIPs can be different between pension schemes and can be changed by an individual. For new pensions started after the 6th April 2011, a PIP will automatically end on the 5th April. It is important to understand that PIPs are only used for the Annual Allowance and any contributions made to a scheme will still be eligible for tax relief in the tax year that they are made. Annual Allowance The rate of charge Only contributions made in excess of the annual allowance will be charged. The rate will approximately be the top rate of income tax that is applied your income. [pic] Carry Forward New rules for Carry Forward have been introduced for 2011/2012 which potentially allow clients to invest more than £50,000 to be contributed to a pension arrangement without being subject to the Annual Allowance charge. This may be of particular importance to high earners whose pension contributions have previously been restricted. The new Carry Forward rules allow unused Annual Allowance to be carried forward by up to three years. Where an individual wishes to use Carry Forward , the Annual Allowance for previous years is deemed to have been £50,000.[pic] Lifetime Allowance (LTA) At the same time as announcing changes to the annual allowance, a similar change was

  • 38. Clash Of Kings Setting As a reader objects and settings in books are key elements to make the story limpid. Without elements such as the setting or the main objects in a book a story has no allure. A story without any key objects would be like Texas Chainsaw Massacre without any chainsaws. Likewise a story without a setting would be like walking through an art gallery without any art. ☺ These elements are essential whether writing about science fiction, or writing about love, without them there is no real rhyme or reason to the story. The book I am reading, A Clash of Kings by George R. R. Martin, has vivid depictions of the setting and objects that are key to the story. A few I will focus on will be the object Wildfire, and the two main settings; beyond the wall ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The first setting that will be elaborated on will be the area beyond the Wall. As Jon Snow and the other men from the Night s Watch express the area beyond the Wall is as unforgiving as the Wall itself. Jon explained his observations of the weather in this way, a gust of wind sent wet leaves flapping round them like a flock of dead birds. The haunted forest, Jon thought ruefully, The drowned forest, more like it (Martin 354). The way Jon expresses the weather around him is crucial to explaining the setting. Not only does he tell us what the place is known for he also tells us that this place has a very unique appearance. The haunted forest gives us the illusion of dark shadows, gloomy atmosphere, and tall trees with gnarled vines. All of these things can be explained by the one phrase. In addition to gloomy atmosphere there is his statement about how it should be called the drowned forest which indicates that there is probably lots of water and it is possibly raining very heavily making a dreary and gloomy place even more so. Without these phrases to describe the setting they are in the story would be bland and not near as exciting. If we did not have this setting there would be no nerve racking feelings or scariness to this section of the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 39. 1992 Presidential Election Campaign Analysis During his acceptance speech in 1988, Republican Vice President, George H. W. Bush, said, read my lips, no new taxes (Bush as cited by Matthews, 2004). Unfortunately, in the wake of financial pressure President Bush in 1990 implemented a new tax on the American people. The failure to honor this declaration brought into question President Bush s credibility and trust, and ultimately followed him to the 1992 Presidential Election (Jamieson, 1996). However minimal the phrase, the impact of his trustworthiness plagued Bush to the ballot box costing him reelection. The presence of credibility, likability, and charisma in a political candidate are precious characteristics needed in the electoral process. These characteristics have the power to move voters in an electoral process and ignite action (Borchers, 2005; Burrell, 2008; Conger, Kanungo Menon 2000; Choi, 2006; Goethals, 2005; Levine Boaks, 2014; Rejai Phillips, 2004). Voter will perceive the candidate s charisma through the sacrifice of the candidates personal goals for the greater goals of the group. This results in higher identification and motivation (Conger, Kanungo, Menon, 2000; Goethals, 2005). Some of the most influential elected leaders effectively made use of constituents emotions to inspire and ignite action in voters. The invoking of emotions during Barack Obama s there are no red state, there are no blue states, just the United States of America speech during the 2004 Democratic National Convention, undoubtedly resonated with future Democratic delegates and voters to transcend him to the Presidency in 2008 (Gelman, Park, Shor Cortina, ... • 40. Disadvantages Of FFT Implementation FFT is very well developed in software but still a need to study on realizing it on hardware subsists. Its primary advantage is the fact that the hardware implementation of FFT generally has more than one computations running in parallel, while in the software implementation a single step is processed at once. Therefore, a FFT hardware can have large amount of data running through the circuit in comparison to those of sequential circuits as realized by software. 16 Point FFT Implementation: A typical FFT processor has the following 3 modules 1 Address generator 2 Twiddle factor generator 3 Butterfly unit 4 Two memory banks R0 and R1 The address generator controls writing to and from the two memory banks and which memory bank is read. In addition to this, it generates addresses for reading and writing the contents read from memory banks to the Butterfly Unit. The address generator also ensures that no memory bank is read from and written to concurrently. There are 3 read address and 3 write address buses. First data is read from one memory bank, and after processing through the butterfly unit it is written to the other memory bank. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... We use a digital complex multiplier to carry out multiplication with the generated twiddle factors. The complex adders then perform addition or substation of opposite arms. As the arm A has no latency as compared to latency created by twiddle factor multiplier on arm B so a delay block is needed on the block A so that the outputs on both the arms appear simultaneously. We have to take into account that multiplying two 8 bit numbers produces 16 bit number. Also the multiplication of signed integers sometimes produce redundant sign bits in the results. The result hence produced won t be correct in magnitude. Therefore, bits are routed from the back ( 15 to 8 ) from the multiplier to the adder, effectively performing a left shift on the ... • 41. What Makes A Person Whole And Morally Sound Virtues are what make a person whole and morally sound, they are the good that can come from behavior or result from something (Dictionary.com). Romans believed that these were what a mortals life was based off of. The Aeneid Virgil includes many of the virtues that the Romans value, one being magnitudo animi. Magnitudo animi translates to greatness of the soul. This greatness of the soul is what a person has from the inside and makes them deal with the hardest decisions or the easiest. They persevere and in the end come out great. One person or demi god that represents magnitudo animi is Aenas from The Aeneid. Aenas deals with his struggles and remembers what it means to have this virtue and is the best example of this. In The Aeneid it goes through the story of Aeneas and Dido. Aeneas deals with his journey to find Rome due to his destiny and in the course of this meets Dido, the Queen of Carthage (Line 15 16 Virgil). Dido is so infatuated when she first sees Aeneas that she instantly wants to break her vow to her dead husband of never being with another man; I recognize the signs of the old flame, of old desire. But O chaste life, before I break your laws, I pray that earth may open, gape for me.... (Line 31 34 Virgil). After Dido prayed to the gods and got their permission. The gods heard her wish and Juno along with Venus planed the event of the two becoming one; Plan hunting in the forest...while beaters in excitement ring the glens my gift will be a black ...
