2. • The thriller was a lot more
challenging and diverse that
the preliminary. This is what
made us use a larger variety of
tools.

3. Blogger/Final Cut Express.
• Even though we have used blogger and final
cut express before, we still learned some new
things about them.
• We learnt how to use different effects in final
cut express and how to insert text, we also
learnt how to insert and edit sound.
• We learnt how to put slideshows onto blogger
and insert pictures and videos onto our blog.

4. Slideshare/Prezi.
• Another tool we used was slideshare this is a
program that allows us to put presentations
onto our blog, which saved a lot of time.
• We also used Prezi which is another
presentation tool. You create a slideshow on
the website and it does the animations for
you, you can either start from nothing or
there are templates.

5. Livetype
• In order to create our text screens we used
livetype. This is a tool which takes text and
animates it in weird and wonderful ways. We
also used this for our ident which looks
particularly good.

6. Garageband.
• Garageband is another tool that we used. This
is a tool which allows you to create music by
pressing the keys on the IMac keyboard
corresponding with the note on the screen.
• We used the music we created using this for
our ident and our animatic.

7. Survey Monkey/Wordle.
• Survey Monkey is a quick and easy tool that
allows you to create a survey we sort of got the
hang of it after about ten minutes of playing
about with it. The survey was to be presented to
our classmates and anyone who read our blog so
we could get some feedback on what the best
type of thriller was for people of our age group.
• We also used wordle which is a tool that you type
words into and it animates the words by putting
them into a funky font and rotating the words
around to make it look cool.
