2. Adobe Photoshop
• Photoshop is a graphics editing programme.
• I used photoshop to edit the images for the magazine cover and
poster.
• I didnt do anything major to the images, i just changed the colouring
on them, making them darker and removing any blemishes and
spots.
• I have used photoshop quite a few times now, so i found it really
easy to quickly edit the images.

4. Adobe Indesign
• Indesign is a professional programme that
allows you to design printable media.
• I used this software to create my
magazine cover and poster.
• I find it a very easy software to use and it
can create professional looking texts.

6. Adobe Premier Pro
• Premier pro is a timeline-based software.
• I used this software to create my trailer. I had a
collection of shots which I put together to create
my trailer.
• I had never used this software before, so it did
take a little time to get used to. However, once you
get used to how things work, the process of
putting the shots in, editing them, adding music
and transition became quite easy.
• The only downside is that all the shots have to in a
certain format for it to work.

8. Adobe After Effects
• After effects is a visual effects software.
• I used this software to create my ident.
• There were many tutorials on how to create certain
idents, but I had to choose one that fit in a British
Social Realism trailer.
• I found quite a simple one, which I thought would suit
quite well. I kept to the same 3 mains colours that I
had used throughout.
• Following the tutorial wasn’t that hard to do, apart from
that the version on the tutorial was different to the one
I was using. This caused a problem because I wasn’t
able to do the sparks properly which was a bit
annoying but I still think it looks fine.

10. YouTube and
Wordpress
• YouTube is a very popular website, where you can
watch, upload and share many videos.
• I used YouTube to upload the progress of my trailer on to
it.
• These were them posted onto wordpress, which is a free
blogging website.
• By being able to put the YouTube clips onto wordpress
allowed me to be able to present to process of my work
clearly.
