Abstract
Among all creations of God living in this planet, man is the most intelligent, innovative and creative. Imbued with these qualities, man was able to plan, create and recreate new things using the resources available in the environment. Man’s position as God’s best creation and as the recipient of the creative intelligence from his Creator has further advanced him in mastering science and technology. As a result of his advancement in knowledge and science in one way or another has ushered man into creating great civilizations. While the discussion goes on as to whether man’s creativity is an inborn or a learned behaviour, this paper intends to explore and analyze some of the existing concepts on human creativity found in Western and Islamic psychologies. Very particularly, the researchers would like to examine the concept of creativity put forward by Freudian Psychoanalysis, Behaviorists, Humanistic and Islamic psychologies. The Roman Empire A Historical Colossus.pdfkaushalkr1407
The Roman Empire, a vast and enduring power, stands as one of history's most remarkable civilizations, leaving an indelible imprint on the world. It emerged from the Roman Republic, transitioning into an imperial powerhouse under the leadership of Augustus Caesar in 27 BCE. This transformation marked the beginning of an era defined by unprecedented territorial expansion, architectural marvels, and profound cultural influence.
The empire's roots lie in the city of Rome, founded, according to legend, by Romulus in 753 BCE. Over centuries, Rome evolved from a small settlement to a formidable republic, characterized by a complex political system with elected officials and checks on power. However, internal strife, class conflicts, and military ambitions paved the way for the end of the Republic. Julius Caesar’s dictatorship and subsequent assassination in 44 BCE created a power vacuum, leading to a civil war. Octavian, later Augustus, emerged victorious, heralding the Roman Empire’s birth.
Under Augustus, the empire experienced the Pax Romana, a 200-year period of relative peace and stability. Augustus reformed the military, established efficient administrative systems, and initiated grand construction projects. The empire's borders expanded, encompassing territories from Britain to Egypt and from Spain to the Euphrates. Roman legions, renowned for their discipline and engineering prowess, secured and maintained these vast territories, building roads, fortifications, and cities that facilitated control and integration.
The Roman Empire’s society was hierarchical, with a rigid class system. At the top were the patricians, wealthy elites who held significant political power. Below them were the plebeians, free citizens with limited political influence, and the vast numbers of slaves who formed the backbone of the economy. The family unit was central, governed by the paterfamilias, the male head who held absolute authority.
Culturally, the Romans were eclectic, absorbing and adapting elements from the civilizations they encountered, particularly the Greeks. Roman art, literature, and philosophy reflected this synthesis, creating a rich cultural tapestry. Latin, the Roman language, became the lingua franca of the Western world, influencing numerous modern languages.
Roman architecture and engineering achievements were monumental. They perfected the arch, vault, and dome, constructing enduring structures like the Colosseum, Pantheon, and aqueducts. These engineering marvels not only showcased Roman ingenuity but also served practical purposes, from public entertainment to water supply.

The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

2. The Qur'anic Understanding Of Love
• Allah is the real source and owner of love.
• A person should seek to be worthy of this
blessing by adhering to the Qur'an's morals,
and should pray that Allah bestows true love.
• People who do not adhere to the Qur'an's
morals live a life bereft of true knowledge,
hope, and true friends in both worlds.
3. Love is a blessing that Allah bestows
upon us:
• And affection and purity from Us—he had fear
[and respect]. (Surah Maryam, 13)
• As for those who believe and do right actions, the
All-Merciful will bestow His love upon them.
(Surah Maryam, 96)
• Among His signs is that He created spouses for
you of your own kind so that you might find
tranquility in them. And He has placed affection
and compassion between you. There are certainly
signs in that for people who reflect.
(Surah-Rum, 21)
5. BELIEVERS LOVE ALLAH THE MOST
Yet of mankind are some who take unto themselves (objects
of worship which they set as) rivals to Allah, loving them with
a love like (that which is the due) of Allah (only)--Those who
believe are stauncher in their love for Allah--Oh, that those
who do evil had but known, (on the day) when they behold
the doom, that power belongeth wholly to Allah, and that
Allah is severe in punishment! Baqarah 2:165

Allah, then follow me, Allah will love you and forgive
you your sins. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most
Merciful."
(3:31)
12. Patience towards believers
• Only those who are patient and unselfish can
love and be loved.
• Patience strengthens and develops mutual
love and tolerance.
• They bear each other's mistakes with
tolerance and forgiveness.
• To compensate for these mistakes, they
redouble their efforts to live according to the
Qur'an's morals in the best possible manner.
13. 3- Justice and Dealing with Equity
“O ye who believe! Be steadfast witnesses for Allah
in equity, and let not hatred of any people seduce
you that ye deal not justly. Deal justly, that is
nearer to your duty. Observe your duty to Allah.
Lo! Allah is informed of what ye do.”
(Surah Maeda 5:8)
15. 4- Putting Trust in Allah:
• “Certainly, Allah loves those who put their
trust (in Him).” (Surah Ale Imran 3:159)
16. ALLAH (SWT) IS SUFFICIENT FOR THE
ONE WHO PUTS TRUST IN HIM
•
• And if any one puts his trust in Allah,
sufficient is (Allah) for him. For Allah will
surely accomplish his purpose: verily, for all
things has Allah appointed a due proportion.
SURAH TALAAQ 65:3

• Ihsan is the Muslim responsibility to obtain
perfection, or excellence, in worship,
• When we worship Allah it should be as if we see
Him, and although we cannot see Him.
• We undoubtedly believe he is constantly
watching over us.
• That definition comes from the hadith (known as
the Hadith of Gabriel in which Muhammad states,
"[Ihsan is] to worship God as though you see Him,
and if you cannot see Him, then indeed He sees
you." (Al-Bukhari and Al-Muslim)

• Humility is one of the most important aspects of
love,
• A person who is haughty can neither be loved nor
feel a deep and sincere love towards anyone.

(against evil), and accepts the best, We will
facilitate for him the easy end." Suratul Lail

(SAW ) said: “ Allah is All-Generous and He
loves generosity in sale, purchase and
judgment.”

loves the believer who is poor but virtuous
enough to refrain from begging though he
has many children.” (Muslim and Ahmed)

• Allah’s Messenger (SAW ) said: “The strong
believer is better and more loved by Allah
than the weak one, but they are both good.”
(Muslim)
39. 16-Love others for the Sake of Allah:
• Al-Tabarâni, Ibn Ya’lâ, Ibn Hibban and Al-Hakim
narrated: Allah’s Messenger (SAW ) said: “If two
individuals love each other for the sake of Allah, the
stronger in love to his brother will be more loved by
Allah.”
41. Mutual love of believers
• "One will not be a true believer unless he loves
for his brother what be loves for himself."
(Bukhari, Muslim, Nasa'i, Ahmed and Ibn Majah)
• Imam Malik and Imam Ahmed narrated: Allah's
Messenger (peace be upon him) said: "Allah said:
My love is due to those who love one another for
My sake."

upon him) said: "Allah said: My love is due to
those who meet for My sake, visit one another
and make any effort for My pleasure."
42. Loving believers

Allah, he should tell him that he loves him.
(Abu Dawud)

said: “
• The best loved by me and the nearest to me on
the seats on the Day of Resurrection are those
who have the best manners and conduct

terms with others and are humble, and
• The most disliked by me and who will be on the
furthest seats from me are those who are
talkative and arrogant.”
47. 19-Fight in the cause of Allah like a

• The reward of the evil is the evil thereof, but
whosoever forgives and makes amends, his
reward is upon Allah.” (al-Shura 42:40)

• Qur'an expresses it in three terms,
• (1)Afw means to pardon, to excuse. 42:40,
2:187 and 5:95
• (2) Safhu, means to turn away from a sin or a
misdeed, ignore, etc. Examples 2:109, 15:85
and 43:89
• (3) Ghafara means to cover, to forgive and to
remit. Examples 2:263, 42:37 and 43:43
50. Prophet (SAW) was most forgiving
• In one Hadith the Prophet (SAW) said that Allah has commanded
him about nine things. One of them he mentioned was “that I
forgive those who do wrong to me.”
• When Prophet (SAW) went to Ta’if to preach the message of Allah,
its people mistreated him. They abused him and hit him with
stones. When he took shelter under a tree, the angel of Allah
visited him and told him that Allah sent him to destroy the people
of Ta’if.
• The Prophet -peace be upon him- prayed to Allah to save the
people of Taif, because what they did was out of their ignorance.
• He said, “O Allah, guide these people, because they did not know
what they were doing.”
