3. A. THE WAY IT SHOULD BE:
“The believers are nothing else than brothers in
Islamic religion. So make reconciliation between your
brothers and fear Allah, that you may receive
mercy.”
(Qur’an; 49 Al-Hujurat, [The Dwellings/
Apartmens]:10).

4. A SPIRIT OF SELFLESSNESS IN THE LIVES OF
SAHABAS
• Allah attests to their sincere sacrifice for each other
in the Glorious Qur’an:Check [Qur’an;59:Al- Hashr;9]
• We saw practical demonstrarion of this brotherhood
after the battle of Uhud,

5. • The prophet (SAW) says, “none of you is truly a
believer (having sound faith) , until he likes for his
brother what he likes for himself.”(Bukhari & Muslim).
• He also adds that,” believers are like parts of the
same body, if one part aches, other parts react
from referred pains.”

6. COOPERATE IN NOBLE CAUSES:
• “And help each other in virtue, righteousness, and
piety; but do not assist one another in sin and
transgression. And fear Allah. Verily, Allah is severe in
punishment..”
(Qur’an; 5 Al Ma’idah [The Feast table]:3).

7. • “By the time. Verily, man is in a state of loss. Except
those who believe in the Oneness of Allah, and do
righteous good deeds, and recommend one
another to the truth (good deeds ordained by
Allah, and abstain from all kinds of sins and evil
deeds, forbidden by Allah).”
• (Qur’an; 103, Al-Asr [The Time] 1-3).

8. WE ARE THE BEST OF ALL NATIONS:
• “You (Muslims) are the best of people ever raised
up for Mankind; you enjoin all that Islam has
ordained, and forbid disbelief and mischief, and
you believe in Allah. And had the people of the
scripture (Jews &Christians) believed, it would have
been better for them; among them are some who
have faith, but most of them are disobedient to
Allah and rebellious against Allah’s command.”
• (Qur’an; 3 Al-Imran,[The family of Imran]:110)

9. SIX RIGHTS OF A MUSLIM ON EACH OTHER
1. To return (salaam) greeting.
2. To invoke Allah’s mercy on the person that
sneezes.
3. To accept his invitation to a function so long it is
not a gathering of transgressing Allah’s boundary.
4. To visit him if he falls ill.
5. To attend his funeral when he dies.
6. To admonish his brother on any matter that he
seeks for advice.

12. ALWAYS CONFIRM THE VERACITY OF
ISSUES, THINK BEFORE ACTING
• “O you who believe! If a liar/evil person comes to
you with any news, verify it, lest you should harm
people in ignorance, and afterwards you become
regretful for what you have done.”
(Qur’an;49, Al-Hujurat [The Apartments]:6).

13. SUSPICION LEADS TO DOOM
• “O you who believe! Avoid much suspicion: indeed
some suspicions are sins. And spy not, neither
backbite one another. Would one of you like to eat
the flesh of his dead brother? And fear Allah verily,
Allah is the one Who forgives and accepts
repentance, Most Merciful.”
(Qur’an;49, Al-Hujurat [The Apartments]:12).

14. HOW DO WE RELATE WITH NEIGHBOURS?
• The prophet (S.A.W) advises, “Whoever believes in
the oneness of Allah and the day of reckoning, he
should be good to his neighbour....”
(Bukhari & Muslim)

15. • The Prophet (S.A.W) swore on three accounts,
saying, “I swear by Allah his Iman is not sound.” The
companions became terrified and asked , who is it
O’ prophet of Allah? So he replied, “the person that
is apprehensive of his neighbour’s
misdeeds.”[Bukhari & Muslim]
• Wal iyadhu billah. May Allah protect us from the evil
of men and jinn.

16. C. WE CAN REDEEM OUR MISTAKES:
…”Those who suppress anger, and who pardon
people; verily. Allah loves the good-doers.”
(Qur’an;3, Al-Imran [The Family of Imran]:134).

17. • “Show forgiveness, enjoin what is good, and ignore
the foolish.” (Qur’an;7, Al-A’araf [The Heights]:199).
• The Prophet (S.A.W) says,
Show mercy to Allah’s creation on earth, so that the
One in Heaven (Allah) may be Merciful to you.”

18. YA ALLAH. GRANT US THIS REQUEST
“Their way of request therein will be (Glory to You, O
Allah!) and (peace safety from evil) will be their
greetings therein(Paradise!) and the close of their
request will be, [All Praise and thanks are Allah’s, the
Lord of (mankind, Jinn, and all that exists).
(Qur’an;10, Yunus [Jonah]:10)].
