The assignment for this paper was to break a cultural rule that is followed by the
people in the United States. Rules serve to be the groundwork of a society and
what makes every society across the globe exclusive in their own way. The rule I
anticipated on breaching was, instead of sitting on the chairs and sofas I intended to
sit on the floor at coffeeshops, dressed in our best suits and ball gowns. My goal was
to test a simple yet barely broken cultural rule of coffee shop etiquettes.

In this quote Brent is explaining to Ashley and Dana that sleeping in the drop box
is the safest place for the night while they have a large some of cash on them. That

My Personality Group Through Human Metrics
Over the course of this assignment; I have discovered much about myself. Likewise,
I probably would not have learned this much about myself or my career, had I not
taken this course. Such as how I have found my personality group through Human
metrics; which presented that I was within the INFJ grouping (Jung, 1998). I was
also able to learn much more about the career that I may be pursuing in the future, as
well as the people in the field similar to it. The Jungian personality testshowed that
my personalitytype, the INFP, is a mediator (Jung, 1998). The website claims that
INFJs are idealistic, future oriented, as well as creative. The possible careers listed
on the website are psychologists, artists, and child care/ teachers (BSM, 2016).
These results show some correlation to my own personality, as I am aspiring to be
an artist. I am also very future oriented and I would like to perceive myself as

Anticipation
There is nothing as good as securing an achievement in life. The feeling one gets in
succeeding puts a smile on the faces of many. In most cases, it calls for
celebrations with less focus on the hurdles and obstacles that one had gone through
in becoming successful. Many are the times that our spirits have aroused in a
joyful mood or a dance out of impulse for a job well done. It could be struggling
academically and finally graduating with honors. It could be spending many
months looking for a job and getting hired by one of the best companies in the
country or finally marrying the dream spouse! When a person is about to succeed
in something, there is a feeling of anticipation that usually comes. It can be a
wonderful experience full of joy or a horrible, hellish chamber full of uncertainty
and despair. This paper discusses how different characters in the short stories Araby
and The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock are prisoners of anticipation. It shows how it

Then she took herself firmly in hand. She must not let herself go. She must not let
morbid fancy run away with her (Malmar 6). Janet constantly has to convince herself
that she is imagining a face in the window, that Ben is coming home soon, and that
building a fire will be comforting. These conflicts within Janet s mind convey the
idea that sanity is partially no longer present in her mentality. It is repeatedly
