I believe in collaborative teaching and successful learning for

Facilitator of Learning
The mission of this project is to build, with teachers, a connected and
collaborative learning environment that promotes and supports student
engagement and achievement.
My role with Nga Pumanawa e Waru involves teacher coaching in relations to
the use of devices in a future focused learning environment. I coach teachers
in moving from teacher-directed learning environments to learner self-
regulated environments and build with them approaches that will ensure
sustainability.
I co-ordinate workshops and resources, including technology specialists (for
wifi connectivity assurance), senior management, teacher aides, outside
technicians and stake holders, and hold community evenings in order to
empower and inform parents and whanau.

As a self-employed contractor, I provide e-Solutions for teachers, students
and families/whanau aligning with the NZ Curriculum and future focused
learning theories. I have provided professional learning workshops, staff
meetings and in-class scaffolding. I have worked with schools at a senior
management level to develop eLearning strategic plans and school-wide
policies to promote eLearning and future focused pedagogies. I have been an
advisor for numerous schools and organisations in relation to special learning

Step by Step (2013-2014)
Tutor
I contracted to Step by Step in delivering one-to-one Unit Standard courses
for ACC beneficiaries. Learners were assessed against Unit Standard
guidelines and awarded the relevant credits. Training was provided in the
areas of word processing, spread-sheeting, curriculum vitaes, job interviews,
reception and office duties, communication skills and business management.

In this position I taught computer skills to primarily Asian students (94%) aged
16-20 years.
My duties included tutoring and assessing relevant Unit Standards for word
processing, spread-sheeting and typing; and attending to disciplinary matters
