Objective
To work in a caring and successful learning environment, and to have the opportunity to educate students in a comfortable
classroom setting. I focus on classroom facilitation and differentiated instructional techniques as well as through use of relevant
and rigorous units of instruction. I use educational technology software programs while maintaining a focus on literacy. This will

I work with staff, administration and also manage a cohort of over 60 students, maintaining contact with them on a daily basis
through phone calls, home visits, email and face-to-face interactions. I instruct and facilitate learning in a modern high school
lab environment involving the use of formative assessment techniques, MAC software used to facilitate instruction, First Class
learning technology and PowerSchool As a Social Studies expert I created PBL lessons and was also involved in the curriculum
alignment and grading process as outlined by the Common Core Curriculum. I have expertise in PowerSchool, Filemaker, and
FirstClass Software programs, as well as Microsoft Office and MAC software.

I worked as a high school classroom teacher, facilitating instruction through the use of the Compass Learning Odyssey program
in a learning lab environment. There were also several other duties I performed including but not limited to electronic
bookkeeping and grading, modifying Compass lesson plans, and serving as mentor for underprivileged youth.
