Fizzy is starting a new club called Fizzy's Super Athletes' Club and is looking for members. As a challenge to join, members must look at a slide comparing body facts and fictions and answer a question about their bodies. They then need to let Fizzy know what they find out.

Subject: Help!
Hello, it’s Fizzy here!
I really need help from the children in your class.
I’m setting up a club called Fizzy’s Super Athletes’ Club,
and I’m looking for members who want to find out more
about sport and the human body, just like me.
You don’t have to be an athlete to be a member, but you
do have to be super!
Can you help?
Fizzy
4. From: Fizzy
Subject: Challenge 1
Hello everyone,
That’s great news, I’m glad you all want to join my club!
It will be fun having so many new members.
All you have to do to join is complete three challenges.
Challenge 1: Look at the next slide. Get in the zone and
answer the question about your bodies. Then, let me
know what you find out!
Good luck!
Fizzy
5. Fizzy’s First Challenge

Read the email and explain what ‘In the Zone’ means. See p.18 of the Teaching Guide for details on the following activity.
Once the children have completed the activity on p.20 of the Teaching Guide, you may want to use this slide as a starting point for a whole class discussion about their results. Children may also refer to this slide during the activity, as an alternative to the Pupil Sheet, if photocopying facilities are not available.
