Central Elementary School welcomes students and parents to the new school year. The school promotes high standards and a positive learning environment. In October, students will learn about bullying prevention during National Bullying Prevention Month and participate in Red Ribbon Week activities to take a stand against drug use. Upcoming events include a poetry slam, book fair, and parent-teacher conferences. Second grade classes will focus on realistic fiction writing, geometry shapes, and the skeletal system in their lessons for the month. Car drop-off and pick-up has moved to the front of the school.
