This weekly report summarizes the progress of a student group working on a product design. The student studied thermostats, which use the thermal expansion of different metal sheets to automatically open or close an electrical circuit based on temperature. Strengths are its safety use for high temperatures and multiple temperature levels. Weaknesses include heat sensitivity. Next steps are further studying drive circuits and designing and testing a circuit.

This week I was studied about Thermostat or automatically switche to control the heat
temperature. Or heating appliances. The electrical circuit when it is heated to the point.The
metal sheet sandwiched between two different types on the different thermal
expansion.Sheet metal or expanded metal sheet is placed on top and that growth will be
below.When the current through the sheet metal and the metal plate until the second bend.
The point of separated an open circuit so voltage cannot flow through.When the two metal
plates to cool to the touch as well. Voltage canflow through short circuit again.

- Can be used as a safety device when used with a temperature too high.
- There are several levels of temperature.
