This document provides an overview of possessive pronouns and the possessive 's in English. It defines the possessive adjectives "my, your, his, her, its, our, their" and provides examples of their use. It then defines the possessive pronouns "mine, yours, his, hers, ours, theirs" and gives examples. Finally, it explains how to form the possessive case using 's, including with singular nouns and names as well as plural nouns ending in s, and provides examples.

’s + noun
Mary’s cat is blue.
Add and apostrophe (’) + s to a singular noun or a name to show possession.
The dogs’ bones.
In plural just add the apostrophe (’) when ending in s.
