It will be a first grade class ages 6-7
State Objectives:
Today will be used to teach the students the values of the coins. The students will know
the value of each of the coins introduced by the end of the day with 100% accuracy.
Methods, Media, and Material:
I will use a youtube video song to engage the students and help them learn using visual
and hearing aids. I have already viewed the video and know it is appropriate. I will also use my
poster to count the values.
Learner Participation:
The students will attempt to recite the song and participate in any questions asked about
the poster and the values listed.
Evaluation:
The bell ringer at the end of the day will be me telling coins and them answering what
they think the value is.
