Students have basic knowledge of:

0 Shapes
0 Easy vocabulary
0 Simple sentences
A- Analyze Learners
0 Familiar with

computers, radios, televisions, projectors, etc. in basic
uses
0 All learning styles are present
0 Students should know all information on the five
senses with no difficulty
S- State Objective
0 My first grade class will learn the five senses and what

each sense does with 100% accuracy within four class
periods. In addition, the students will learn how each
sense is used in everyday life and why it is important.
Students will use varied types of technology such as
computers, projectors, and WebQuests.
S- Select Methods, Media, and
Materials
0 The available materials that will be used on Friday

include the computer and the projector.
0 The teacher will modify the classroom so that the
students’ chairs allow an easy view of the projection.
0 The teacher will also modify the lighting so that the
projection is easily visible.
0 The teacher will be the main source of verbal
information and will simply use these materials and
media as tools to help
S- Select Methods, Media, and
Materials
0 New materials that will be designed for this Unit

include a WebQuest
U- Utilize Media and Materials
0 Preview the projections from the computer to ensure

the image is visible and of good quality
0 Ask the students if everyone can easily view the
screen
0 The teacher should ensure that everyone can hear her
when she talks and instructs and whether or not she
needs to adjust her volume.
0 Make sure that there is successful access to your
chosen WebQuest
R- Require Learner
Participation
0 This is the final day of the Unit Plan. The teacher will

use this day to cover all the topics and material one
last time through the use of a WebQuest which is
dedicated solely to the Five Senses.
0 The teacher needs to organize her materials before
hand
0 The teacher will need to bring the WebQuest up on
the computer and go through it tab by tab following
the step-by-step instructions.
R- Require Learner
Participation
0 Once the WebQuest is complete, the teacher needs to

answer any final questions on the topic and conclude
it enthusiastically.
This is the WebQuest.
Evaluate and Revise
0 The students will be solely evaluated by the guide

located in the WebQuest. It was specifically made for
this assignment in grading.
0 Students should know the five senses by now

The teacher will use this day to cover all the topics and material one last time through the use of a WebQuest which is dedicated solely to the Five Senses. 0 The teacher needs to organize her materials before hand 0 The teacher will need to bring the WebQuest up on the computer and go through it tab by tab following the step-by-step instructions.
