Friday
Analyze Learners:
It will be a first grade class ages 6-7
State Objective:
Today my first graders will be assessed with a store project. The students will know how
to identify the coins, their values, and how to use them by the end of the day with 95% accuracy.
Review will follow the next week.
Methods, Media, and Material:
I will provide simple purchases such as erasers, pencils, stickers, and rulers. The students
must be able to count the amount of fake money provided to “buy” the things in the store. I will
use this to assess what they learned, but also allow them to participate in an activity they will
have to use in the real world.
Learner Participation:
The students will be a customer and will purchase things in a make believe store.
Evaluation:
The accuracy as to which the students count their money and use it in the store will help
me assess what the students have learned and whether or not more attention on the subject is
necessary.
