- Hopefully you fall into one of these categories, but if not, you can still benefit from TechSoupās free webinars and resources, which Iāll talk about a little later in the presentation.
- The Microsoft donation program is really the hallmark for TechSoup and what weāre most well-known for. You can get donated versions of Microsoft Windows, Office, Office 365, and Windows Server for your public library. You can upgrade your public access computers to Windows 7, 8, or 10 through TechSoup for $15/license. I also wanted to mention that if your computer is already running Windows 7 or 8, you can get a free upgrade to certain editions of Windows 10 directly through Microsoft until July 29, but not the Enterprise version of Windows 10. And finally, you can get donated versions of Windows Server software through TechSoup as well.
- I also wanted to talk about TechSoup Boost (www.techsoup.org/boost), a fairly new subscription program that bundles together software and hardware. This program letās you sample a number of programs without having to pay that admin fee. Programs included in Boost this quarter are Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Elements, Tableau Desktop, Tableau Training and Support, Shopify, and more. Small organizations (annual operating budgets of $500,00 or less) - $79 Midsize (more than $500,00 and less than $2mil) - $99
