Students today need to have the ability to learn and adapt to new
media. With this it is equally important to develop critical thinking
skills to have the ability to digest, select and aggregate content
appropriately — whether uploaded or downloaded from the Internet.
Some examples are listed below:

•Leading to Deeper Learning
•Higher Quality Hands-on Work

With Web 2.0 there is a whole new dimension to the ability of
"show, don't tell"— you are able to share presentations
anytime, anywhere, with anyone you like.
Another advantage to using Web 2.0 presentation tools, you
can push the boundaries of traditional presentations, mix
things up, and make learning more engaging.

PROS:
•Easy access, you don't need to own a computer and can work
on it from anywhere (school, library)
•Free to use
•Ability to teach students how to create great presentations
without having to purchase software
CONS:
•Requires students to register for accounts, would need district
and parent consent
•Security, any creditianls submitted could be hacked
• Any legal concerns with utilizing *FREE* software for public
school usage
