• Prayer is communication with God.
• Christians can pray anywhere at anytime. It can be
asking God for something, thanking God or just asking
Him a question. Prayer does not need to be formal, it
can be like chatting to a friend.
• For Christians, praying is very important, they believe
it helps them to become better people and makes the
world a better place for all.

6. How to Pray
Prayer is an act of love that can be enhanced by following “6 Ps”:
• place: find a place where you can be in God’s presence
• period of time: set aside a designated time for prayer
• posture: assume a posture that helps you be alert and
relaxed
• presence: remember that you are in God’s presence so that
you can be present to God
• passage: one common way to enter into prayer is to be begin
with Scripture
• persistence: strive to focus on prayer in spite of distractions

Mental Prayer:

1. Be regular in the daily moments of prayer.
2. In prayer, quiet yourself and place your
body, mind, and heart in the disposition of
prayer.

Our free choice to answer the call of God, and
spend our lives serving God, the Church, and
society.
The word Vocation originates form the Latin
word vocātiō, which means a call or summons.
The definition of the word vocation today is a
strong feeling of suitability for a particular job or
career. The religious meaning is a call from God
to do our job that God has given us.

Blessedness
More and more people are choosing
this life, this sort of life requires
people to be committed to being
single and are required to help the
community and serve others.
14. 2. Married Life
Most people are drawn to this
vocation in life. They choose to live
their life with another person that
they love and choose to spend the
rest of their lives with.
15. 3. Vowed Life
People are slowly being drawn to a religious
life for their vocation. This includes vowing
your life to God, they make vows of poverty,
chastity, and obedience to live like Jesus.
They dedicate themselves to calling others
to join their cause.
16. 4. Ordained Life
Ordained life is when a man is felt or
compelled to serve God, the church and to
serve God's people. They preach the gospel,
celebrate mass, and provide advice for
others. They develop their friendship with
Jesus and can eventually be made a Deacon
or Priest.
17. How to serve others
1. Remove all desire to be praised or
rewarded.
2. Freely volunteer yourself, your time, and
your resources for others.
3. Allow things to unfold without forcing
your plan or expectation.
