This document discusses a research project focused on enhancing voltage sag in a grid-connected hybrid photovoltaic-wind power system using a dynamic voltage restorer (DVR) that incorporates battery and super magnetic energy storage (SMES). It addresses the issue of power fluctuations from intermittent renewable energy sources by employing a pre-sag compensation method for maintaining voltage quality. The effectiveness of the proposed DVR system is demonstrated through simulations considering various voltage sag scenarios, with a goal of protecting sensitive loads from voltage fluctuations.
