Caitlin is graduating from NYU in May 2012 with a major in Sociology and a minor in Communications. She has interned at Lizzie Grubman Public Relations, Ahmuty, Demers and McManus law firm, and The Romero Center. Her interests include pets, beach, friends, family, and community service. She has volunteered at The Mercy Center and Gompers Elementary School. Her future goals are to potentially volunteer with Teach for America or Jesuit Volunteer Corps and attend graduate school for early childhood education or social work.

9. Community Service
• The Mercy Center: Volunteer 2007-2008
Tutored children in reading in a Saturday program. The Mercy Center is
located in Mott Haven, Bronx. The ages of children varied.
• Gompers Elementary School: September 2009- Present
Tutored children from ages 6-14 years old. Help with homework, and
mentored them. By spending two hours with them, a community was
started and the children felt comfortable and able to talk to us. We talked
about everything from music, to school, to family and we also went to the
playground to run around after homework was completed.

10. Future Goals:
• Maybe volunteer with Teach for America or
Jesuit Volunteer Corps.

education, or social working.
