Intelligent Parking is a parking guidance system that helps drivers efficiently find available parking spaces through signs and sensors. It provides real-time parking information to reduce congestion from drivers circling lots looking for spots. As a result, it lessens traffic and lines while increasing revenues for parking facilities. The system guides drivers to available spaces through multiple steps, first informing them of available lots, then directing them to floors with open spots and finally assisting them to vacant bays.

An automatic parking guidance system is proposed for a project called NAVANA PRISTINE PAVILION. The system uses ultrasonic sensors to detect vehicles, counts vacant spaces, and displays them on LED panels. A master controller interfaces between the sensors and software to manage information across parking zones. The parking guidance software uses an SQL database and a user-friendly interface. Popular Technologies Limited provides solutions to facilitate traffic flow and ensure easy parking for users.
The document describes an automatic toll collection system that uses automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) technology. The system includes high resolution cameras that capture images of license plates and software that performs template matching to extract, segment, and recognize the characters. It connects local toll booth computers to a central server database. The system provides benefits like less waiting time at tolls and more efficient toll collection. It reduces the need for human resources and brings secure and reliable automatic tolling.
Automatic Toll Collection by using mobile phonesilent_god
Many highways in India are having toll booth to collect toll tax. There is a manual method existing of hand written or computerized toll ticket issuing & collecting cash from Toll road user (like truck, car, bus etc). This method has many limitations & weaknesses. In India, government is planning for RFID tag based toll collection, which is expensive & time consuming.
This method of "Mobile Phone Based Automatic Toll Collection" is a simple to deploy method for toll collection & uses readily available

RFID based Highway Toll Fee Process SystemAmar Reddy
The automated toll collection system using Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tag emerges as a convincing solution to the manual toll collection method employed at tollgates. Time and efficiency are a matter of priority of present day. In order to overcome the major issues of vehicle congestion and time consumption RFID technology is used. RFID reader fixed at tollgate frame(or even a band held reader at manual lane, in case RFID tagged vehicle enters manual toll paying lane) reads the tag attached to windshield of vehicle. The object detection sensor in the reader detects the approach of the incoming vehicle’s tag and toll deduction takes place through a prepaid card assigned to the concerned RFID tag that belongs to the owners account. Using GSM, the deducted information will be sent to the registered mobile number. This makes tollgate transaction more convenient for the public use.

This was the opening talk in the API track at the Service Delivery Innovation Event, London, Sept 2014.
Hence it is sub-divided in two parts:
Part One is about getting “in the mood for APIs”. It is about a general and high level view of how I think the world is currently changing for everyone, and what the API Economy seems to be about.
Part Two will then take a closer look at how we as TomTom Telematics and the WEBFLEET platform work with the challenges and shape the changes that are happening.
The document describes an automatic toll collection system that uses various modules to collect tolls without human intervention. The key modules are an automatic vehicle identification system using transponders to identify vehicles, a weight sensor to determine toll amount, a controlling unit that accesses a central database to obtain owner information and deduct funds, a money transfer module to pay the tolls electronically, and a GSM module to notify owners of deductions via text. The automatic system aims to improve efficiency, effectiveness and reduce traffic compared to traditional toll collection methods.
This presentation is all about Electronic Toll Collection, in this i define history of ETC, Technology used is fastag. and Advantage and disadvantage of using fastag
Electronic toll collection (ETC) aims to eliminate delays at toll roads by electronically collecting tolls from registered vehicles without needing to stop. FASTag is India's ETC system, using RFID technology to automatically deduct toll fees from linked accounts as vehicles pass through toll plazas. Automatic vehicle identification tags containing unique IDs are affixed to windshields and read by roadside antennas, with the information sent to central computers to identify accounts for fee deduction. ETC provides benefits like reduced travel times and emissions from less waiting, as well as incentives like toll discounts for users.
The document describes an automated toll collection system using RFID technology. Vehicles are equipped with RFID tags containing unique identification numbers. RFID readers placed at toll booths read the tags as vehicles pass through. The toll amount is then deducted electronically from a prepaid balance associated with each tag. This allows vehicles to pass through tolls without stopping, reducing traffic congestion and fuel consumption compared to traditional cash-based toll systems. It also provides security benefits like tracking stolen vehicles.
Electronic Toll Tax collection system in india Deepak Chouhan
This document discusses electronic toll collection (ETC) systems. It begins by introducing the motivation for ETC to reduce congestion at toll plazas. It then describes the components of an ETC system, including RFID tags, readers, and back-end systems. The core technology discussed is RFID, which allows for automatic vehicle identification and payment processing. The document outlines how ETC systems work, their benefits like reduced time and fuel costs, and applications including automated tolling and parking. It concludes by discussing India's FASTag program and the potential of ETC systems to improve traffic flow.

RFID is a technology that uses radio waves to automatically identify objects. RFID tags attached to objects are scanned by an RFID reader to transmit data wirelessly. A basic RFID system consists of an antenna that emits radio signals, a transceiver that controls data acquisition and communication, and a transponder tag that contains identifying information transmitted to the reader. The document discusses applications of RFID technology including tracking objects and automating processes like access control and parking systems.
The document discusses the history and capabilities of RFID technology. It describes how RFID works using radio waves to transmit data from tags to readers, and some of its applications in supply chain management and retail. Specifically, it allows tracking shipments and inventory in real-time, reducing costs and stockouts while improving sales. However, concerns around privacy are also discussed as RFID could be used to track people's locations and purchases.
This document describes an RFID vehicle tracking system that uses transmitters and receivers to track vehicles within a 10 meter range and deduct toll amounts by searching a database when a vehicle's turn arrives.
