2. Introduction:
Very cost-effective method that enables continuous video
surveillance & tracking of the vehicle.
The system also monitors various aspects such as seating, interior
view, etc, and it also take accidental prevention methods to them.
We use 3G connectivity to enable live video streaming of what’s
happening inside the bus, and it will then transfer into centralised
monitoring system.
This project has large significance, since misbehavior in vehicles are
increasing and it can be effectively reduced by this system.
This project provides safe and security to the travellers who use
public transport vehicles.
3. Abstract:
Presently, safety of travellers who use public transport vehicles is
almost absent in our nation
This project introduces a very cost-effective method
The system monitors various aspects that define the environment of
a passenger such as his seating, current position of the vehicle,
interior view, etc
It also take accident prevential methods by sending message to
nearest hospital, police station, etc
Video camera is mounted in such a way that it rotates to cover the
whole of the vehicle’s interior
The system enables the tracking device to obtain GPS data
4. Existing system:
Security cameras are absent & if present too they have only limited
functionalities
Facilities for getting occupied and vacant seat information are
unavailable
Requires a third person for informing when accident or collision
occurs
6. Proposed system:
Includes IP cameras for accessing the captured raw data over
internet
Servomotors are installed for controlling camera position through
GSM
Pressure sensors will sense vacant seat availability information and
send to centralized control unit
GPS unit is installed for tracking the vehicles position
7. Implementation steps:
Circuit designing of camera power supply, video transmitter,
antenna & gear system sections independently
PCB design & fabrication
Microcontroller programming using C++ or Assembly languages
Camera and servomotor unit interfacing
Sensor interfacing
GPS & GSM interfacing
8. Applications:
Monitoring of real time video over internet
Information about occupied and vacant seats
Alert to the authorities under any vehicle collision
Tracking of the vehicle
Advantages:
Passengers security
Reduce risk of life under collision
Monitors the position of vehicle
Notifications to the passenger when approaching destination
