Using Social Media (Linkedin) as a
        Recruitment Tool
The Linkedin Network

Linkedin is different to Twitter & Facebook because:

1.Built for recruiters (or at least in large part for recruiters)

2.More of a professional than social network

3.More of a transactional marketplace than social network

                    Summary Section
Your summary section is normally very prominently positioned
on your profile and provides an overview of:

 • Who you are.
 • What you do.
 • Why you joined / what you hope to achieve on Linkedin.
 • How open you are to being approached.

Posting Jobs in Groups
 (free)
Jobs within groups are actually now the paid for jobs that group members have
engaged with (posted, applied for, liked etc). You can still post “jobs” in almost
   all
groups for free, but they are called “Career Discussions” ?!

Once again, when you post use a bit.ly to measure the results (the number of
people who clicked the link).

looking for a CEO to lead the UK’s national body for Social Enterprise into its next
phase. The role is based in London and is paying £75-85k Basic + & Benefits.

Details of the role can be found on our site here:
http://jobs.easywebrecruitment.com/pls/www/wd_portal.show_job?

Given your background and network within this area, I wanted to ask if you might be
interested or knew anyone who you could recommend? This is a key role for them,
hence the highly targeted search.

I greatly appreciate your assistance and look forward to hearing from you.
