This document is a winter project report submitted for a Master's degree in Management Studies from the University of Mumbai. It studies how social media is being used as an important recruitment tool. The report acknowledges that more businesses are successfully using social media platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter to find and recruit qualified candidates. While social media provides opportunities to engage with a large pool of potential applicants, companies must also balance maintaining traditional successful recruiting strategies.
