10:30-11:15 -- “World Buffet”—Culture through Food
As our first collaborative effort, I request all parents to bring any
food or delicacies that represent your home country. It will be a
great delight for third grade students to find out one’s culture
through the food they eat. Please prepare for 20-30 people as there
will be children who will be going for a second serving. This feast will
serve as our “brunch treat” for our 3rd graders. You are also invited
to join this festivity. I would really appreciate if you can text Girlie
(0906-3022462) or Valerie (0917-8064360) on what you or your child will be
bringing during this time to avoid any duplicates.

11:15-11:50 -- Culture Share
These are “centers” where each child learns more about their classmate’s
culture. Each center is led by students who volunteered to share song, arts
              and crafts, games, or story.
