We use the present perfect
    for actions that began
in the past and continue up
        to the present.
                 e.g.
  I have learned English for 8 years.
Affirmative         Negative            Questions

You have worked.   I have not worked.   Have you worked.

 She has eaten.    She has not eaten.    Has she eaten
With the present perfect, we often use
       already for positive emphases.

   I've already seen a nice wardrobe

Sooner than everybody thought or expected
We also often use still + not for negative
 emphasis.

       A week later, the kamals still
       have not finished.
