The Partnership for Action on Green Economy (PAGE) is a collaboration between UNEP, ILO, UNIDO, and UNITAR that aims to support 30 countries' transitions to inclusive green economies by 2020. PAGE provides tools and technical assistance to help countries formulate green economy policies, strengthen capacity to implement initiatives, and share knowledge on green economic development. Donors will also coordinate at international levels by improving coordination mechanisms, advocating for CAADP, and ensuring policy coherence for African agriculture.

Example China. In Lao PDR, we have a projects working on the quality of investments and supporting government in the preparation of the National Plan and piloting the M&E framework.

Private Sector and the National Development Plan Implementation of the 7th National Development Plan requires about 50% funding from taxes derived from FDI Private sector is seen as the engine for sustainable development in Lao PDR. Many different examples. The national plan could benefit from having a closer working relationship with the private sector.
