Reading the book Harvest of Empire by Juan Gonzalez, has been very informative to
me and has changed my perspective on U.S. foreign policy. Each account of the
families from the different Latino countries has similar underlying trends that can be
found because of the U.S. involvement in their countries. Every single instance of
U.S. involvement in Latin American countries seems to evolve around the idea of
greed and profit. The U.S. is like a business that only cares about the income of
money and not about the morality of their actions. On top of all the injustice the U.S.
government has employed, they don t bother to own up to their mistakes and they
tend to sweep their involvement under the rug. For example, the Iran Contra scandal
mentioned in the book of the Reagan administration was the result of using drug
money from Iran to buy weapons for the Nicaraguan contra rebels against the
Sandinista government of Nicaragua. It infuriates me that the U.S. would support a
dictator that suppresses the rights of its citizens and all the while they want to take

temperament fits my personality the most because I tend to feel sympathy towards

The overall theme of race and class being brought up in both readings is what made
me see the original correlation between the two but, as I looked back into
Chambliss writing the section of The Police and the Saints caught my eye as a
very contrast view to what Goffman displays in On the Run. The relationship
between the police and saints was very limited and they were barely ever pulled
over and if so they could weasel their way out of a ticket of punishment. This was
explained because of the visibility of the Saints verses the Roughnecks. The
Roughnecks similar to any member on 6th Street who has basically been in and out

barium was used. The SLP poured barium into the cups, which she then flavored
with Kool Aid and then barium was added to applesauce. This allowed the SLP to
test various consistencies and see how the patient tolerated them. Thin, Nectar, and
Puree consistencies were observed during the study. The study requires several
disciplines to be presented in the room in order for it to be completed. There was a
radiologist, radiology technician, nurse, an SLP, and the mother of the child. This

A self doubting flight attendant fights for survival when her plane passes through
a portal into the future and crash lands on Doom Island where she has to stop a
weather machine from destroying all of existence. BRIEF SYNOPSIS: TABITHA
(20 s) is a loner and flight attendance. She has bet destiny by out living her
diagnosis of a terminal illness. She s reckless and has lost faith in life. She was
once a champion swimmer, but her father never forgave her for coming in second
place. She has a one night stand with GERALD TAYLOR (20 s). He s immediately
obsessed with Tabitha and swears he will never forget her. Dr. BEN LAMPTON
has invented a weather machine and has theorized that in the future the world will

Poor conditions sparked the Egyptian Revolution. The work conditions were so poor,
that ...a street vendor in Tunisia set himself on fire in front a municipal building to

9/11: The World May Never Know As defined by Merriam Webster Dictionary, a
conspiracy theory is a theory that explains an event or situation as the result of a
secret plan by usually powerful people or groups. Conspiracy theories can be found
all over the world.They are an inevitable part of society. As long as mankind exists,
conspiracy theories will as well. The main things that people form conspiracy theories
around are things such as government operations, the deaths of famous people, and
national tragedies. Staying true to this statement, one of the most prominent national
tragedies that isconspired about all over the world is the series of attacks on the
World Trade Centeron September 11, 2001. There are many conspiracy theories
concerning 9/11. These theories include the proposals that 9/11 was faked and that
the planes were actually missiles. Some conspirators even go as far as saying that
the planes were just projections from a hidden projector device. Out of all of these
conspiracy theories, the most plausible of all is the one that states that the twin
towers did not just randomly collapse. This theory states that the twin towers were
demolished with the use of explosives. Society will never be able to be fully certain
about the events that occurred on that horrid day. With signs pointing to both the
affirmative and the negative, one cannot be certain of whether or not this conspiracy
theory is true.

natural and universal orders seem to affect his surroundings, the night is now
