AYLA alumni gave a workshop for UERMMMC NSTP I students in September 2007 to educate young voters. The workshop was part of a Young Voters Zone event that aimed to teach students about their role and responsibility in the electoral process. Students learned how to make informed decisions by understanding the issues, platforms, and track records of different candidates in upcoming elections.
Responsibility by R. Leaf
Greenleaf discussed the key downfall of societies as a lack of responsibility. Specifically, he argued that able and strong people do not take enough responsibility. Most able people entertain themselves with their time, energy, and resources rather than taking on more responsibility. According to Greenleaf, societies must develop an ethic where able and strong people take on significantly more responsibility to address this societal problem.
