 Education is the process of learning. Skills,
knowledge etc. and routine of a group of people
are transferred to other people, through
discussion, teaching and many more. Education
repeatedly takes place under the guidance of
educators, but learner may also educate ourselves.
Education & Learning
 Education is commonly and formally divided into
stages such as: preschool, primary school,
secondary school, college, university or
apprenticeship. The methodology of teaching is
called pedagogy.
Formal Education
 Formal education arrives in a structured
environment whose obvious purpose is teaching
students. Usually, formal education takes place in
a school environment with classrooms of multiple
students learning together with a trained, certified
teacher of the subject.
Preschool Education
 Preschool are also known as Nursery Schools and
Kindergarten, except in the USA. Preschool give
education from ages around three to seven,
depending on the Country when children enter
Primary Education.
Primary Education
 Primary education gives if the first five to seven
years of formal education. Primary education is
provided in schools, where the child will stay in
steadily advancing classes until they complete it
and move on to high school/ secondary school.
Secondary Education
 Secondary education comprises the formal
education that arrives during youth. Secondary
education in the United States refers to the last
four years of statutory formal education (grade 9
to grade 12). Secondary education occurs mainly
during the teenage years.
Tertiary (Higher) Education
 Tertiary education is normally taken to include
undergraduate and postgraduate education as
well as vocational education and training. Higher
education, also called tertiary is the non-
compulsory educational level that follows the
competition of a school such as high school or
secondary school.
Vocational Education
 Vocational education is a form of education
focused on direct and practical training for a
specific trade or craft. Vocational education may
come in the form of an internship as well as
institutions teaching courses such as engineering,
medical any many more.
Special Education
 Special education is a form of school catering for
students who have special educational needs due
to critical learning difficulties, behavioral
problems and physical disabilities. Special school
may be specifically designed, staffed and resources
to provide proper special education for children
with additional needs.
