Quick tour of Twitter @ - your username (handle) Other people have been tagged Bio # - hashtag – useful for collating and finding tweets on the same topic and measuring engagement Add a picture – gets more attention! Tagging people in saves characters for what you want to say! (Each tweet has 280 character maximum) Link for more info
  • 5. Getting to know people on Twitter is a bit like going to a party where you don’t know anyone Start slowly – chat with a few people, make connections with people who share similar interests, values and you’ll soon make connections
  • 6. Let’s make sure we all follow each other! Pop your @username in the chat box
  • 7. Make your profile page shout about you! • Update your bio. Think about what makes you, you. What are you interested in and passionate about? • Add a profile picture if you haven’t done that yet • Add a background picture if you haven’t done that yet (may we suggest the School one? ;-))
