Context – How did it start?
This was a bigger problem…
In the recently published Picker Staff Survey Results for 2018, Oldham scored below
national average on the following questions:
• I receive the respect I deserve from my colleagues at work
• Agree that relationships at work are strained
• In the last 12 months how many times have you personally experienced harassment,
bullying or abuse at work from managers
• In the last 12 months how many times have you personally experienced harassment,

Data Headlines
• Our baseline data showed that 60% of our respondents agreed or strongly agreed
that their relationships at work were strained. At the summit this had reduced to 41%.
• Perhaps more worryingly, our baseline data showed 26% of respondents said that
they agreed / strongly agreed that they had experienced bullying, harassment or
abuse in the last 12 months from their manager. That’s more than 1 in 4. At the
summit this had reduced to 3.5% with only 1 of 28 respondents agreeing / strongly
agreeing.
• Similarly, our baseline data showed 20% of respondents said they agreed / strongly
agreed that they had experienced bullying, harassment or abuse in the last 12 months
from other colleagues. At the summit this had reduced to 7%.
