Immature fiber content in percent. Percentage of fibers with less than 0.25 circularity. The lower the IFC% the better the fiber is for dyeing.
Maturity Ratio :
Maturity Ratio is the ratio of fibers with a 0.5 (or more) circularity ratio devided by the amount of fibers with a 0.25 (or less) circularity. The higher the maturity ratio, the more mature the fibers are and the better the fibers are for dyeing.
Filament-core yarns are produced to take advantage of both filament and staple fibre properties. They offer good strength and uniformity without sacrificing the staple fibre yarn-like surface characteristics. Core-spun yarns containing spandex provide fabric designers with broad possibilities, because such stretchable yarns can be constructed with a wide range of properties using virtually any type of hard fibres as the cover yarn. Similar to other state-of-the-art digital twins, this technology creates a digital replica of the physical system executed in real-time or faster, which can modify hardware controls. However, its advantage stems from distributing computational efforts by utilizing a hierarchical structure composed of lower-level digital twin blocks and a higher-level system digital twin. Each digital twin block is associated with a physical subsystem of the hardware and communicates with a singular system digital twin, which creates a system-level response. By extracting information from each level of the hierarchy, power system controls of the hardware were reconfigured autonomously. This hierarchical digital twin development offers several advantages over other digital twins, particularly in the field of naval power systems. The hierarchical structure allows for greater computational efficiency and scalability while the ability to autonomously reconfigure hardware controls offers increased flexibility and responsiveness. The hierarchical decomposition and models utilized were well aligned with the physical twin, as indicated by the maximum deviations between the developed digital twin hierarchy and the hardware.

▪ Flat tops mainly consist of the flats fabric and
metal hooks
▪ TCC uses a “multilayer foundation” in the
flats fabric construction with the covering
layer always consisting of permanently elastic
natural rubber
▪ A flats fabric consists of up to seven single
layers of rubber and cotton that are
constructed like a multilayer sandwich
▪ The wires used are made of micro-alloyed
steel, which are additionally hardened by
TCC
▪ Computer-optimised, biconvex wire cross-
sections and the special geometry of the tips
reduce wire movement during the carding
process

Stationary flats
▪ Carding segments are used not only in
the pre- and post-carding zones of the
main cylinder, but also at the lickerin
rolls
▪ Stationary flats are available in different
varieties depending on card type and
material processed
▪ TCC uses a special procedure to obtain
maximum service life: instead of
grinding the wire tips off, TCC keeps
very narrow tolerances of the carding
segments through elaborate machining
of the wire carrier backs

Cylinder wire – FGX1 features

Cylinder wire- FGX1
▪ The cylinder wires of the FG series are a new
development. The most remarkable
characteristic of this wire is the straight tooth
back
▪ The tooth back keeps the fibres on the surface
and thus ensures an intensive interaction with
the flat tops. Feedback from spinning mills
confirms IPI values that are about 15% better
▪ The quality over longer periods of time is more
constant compared to conventional wires
▪ The long tooth back forms a robust carding
edge. Wear is considerably lower than with
filigree-shaped teeth
▪ In practice, re-sharpening of FG clothing is
eliminated, which means no maintenance

MAGNOTOP
1. The MAGNOTOP flat system is the
result of an intensive cooperation
between Trützschler and TCC
2. The new Trützschler aluminium flat
bars are designed so that the card
clothing can be magnetically fixed by
extra-strong neodymium magnets
3. MAGNOTOP reduces the tolerances
between the single flat bars. This is
ensured by adhesive and
compensation layers on the flat bars
and on each individual clothing strip
