2. „Renaissance‟ means rebirth.
Refers to the period of about 1400-1600 that
was a new period of learning and creativity in
Europe.
Renaissance, largely began in Italy, primarily
in Northern Italy. In the city of Florence.
It resulted in a new view of mankind and the
way they looked at the world.

than the Baroque period began.
• I have talked on only a few of the many great happen-
ings during this time period.
• My research on this project found many opinions
on the time periods for people, places, and things, which
was confusing at times.
