2. My magazine willbe based on old
style fashion pop changed to fit new
upbeat pop but still idolising the old
theme of music, intertextulity of
Marilyn Monroe (she is alwaysa
different colourto everyone else).
My double page spread will also
follow the black and white theme or
possibly have major splashes of
colouras if a paint pot has popped
connoting a 'reveal' interview so it
could seem as if the article was fresh
and new but also exclusive and it has
a shock within. The articles will
feature pop queens such as lady gaga
and Katy Perry but can also feature
some new upcoming loved instantly
artist, this will draw in the inherited
audiences from their fans. As my
magazine is based on a very classy
and sophisticated theme this will
draw in the target audience I require
(ages between 17-21).
The magazines overalltheme is
black and white connoting a more
classy take on pop, connoting
maturity and pop ageing gracefully
but how he old pop still lives in the
new. Throughout the magazine
their willbe one or twosplashes of
dominant colouron the assets of
the main image features, this will
draw in the eye contactof the
reader through the unusual text
and images, but also as it is bold
and bright and will stand out; this
will differentiate my magazine
from other magazines drawing in
the target audience enticing them
to pick it up. However I willmake
my main coverunique by making
the masthead math the colourof
the assets (lips and eyes). The
main could be captured possibly
on a bridge howeverclose up on
the face so you can slightly see the
background demonstrating to the
audience that she is more
important than the background
surrounding her.
Within the layoutof the main coverthe
title will be covering the main image to
make it appear bold or be slightly behind
the head of the model this illustrates to the
target audience that the model is a bigger
star than the magazine but also that the
magazine is that well know it can bring in
their normal target audience through
brand recognition, The magazine will
include formal language, the font willbe
very big clear, similar to the titles such as
'vogue' aiming at my primary audience of
females. The text within the main articles
will be very unique in a unique layout. As
my magazine has more of a classier and
formal theme my target audience would be
more upper to middle class making the
price being £4.99,the publishing house for
my magazine would be Prometheus Global
Media (they also publish things such as
billboard whichis also a very formal
magazine like my magazine.

males that will get a sexual appeal from
her, therefor the models clothing choice
could be quiet revealing showing quiet a
rebellious side, this detonates that she is
not afraid of a challenge.
