time you may say some things you wouldn t dare say in front of a parent or teacher. However,
for this assignment we had the chance to have free reign over the topic, how we expressed
ourselves and the extent that it was taken. The conversation flowed like running water and was
never stagnant. We were able to have lengthy discussions about real issues that mattered to us, and
not talk about something from a tired school curriculum. Dialect definitely varies depending on
the person, or the group for that matter. Most teenager s dialect changes according to their
environment. To increase their probability of getting a job they may speak more academically or
to be understood by their friends they may speak more in their own personal vernacular with
prominent usage of slang words. Differences in dialect can be seen in the way people react when
they talk to each other, their choice of words, their subject topic, and how comfortable they are

Elizabeth is a girl from a with social status, when Mr Darcy is the one who has gold. As was said
earlier Mr. Darcy s pride and Elizabeth s prejudice leads them to beautiful love. Elizabeth is a very
intelligent young girl that reads lots of books, also she doesn t care what social status she has
got. As Austen said that she had a lively, playful disposition, which delighted in anything
ridiculous (Austen 3.14). For her the most important thing in people is if they are good and
sincere. On the other hand Mr Darcy is just full of himself, it s almost like his pride is pouring
out of him. During the ball at the Meryton, the gentlemen pronounced him to be a fine figure of a
man, the ladies declared he was much handsomer than Mr. Bingley, and he was looked at with
great admiration for about half the evening (Austen 3.5). Probably that s why the young girl has
so much reserve towards his own person. Elizabeth dreams of someone who will accept her just
the way she is, she also doesn t want to get married to a wealthy man as her parents would like
their daughters to do. Even though the couple have two different social status, they are able to
become bound to each other. We are able to see how at first Elizabeth had huge prejudice
towards Mr Darcy, mostly because she thought of him as a bad man. When she visits him in his
own place she finds out that he is actually a good person. Their characters and attitudes towards
each other change quickly. From total rejection to the absolute love. When we look more closely
we may see that most of the prejudice in Mr Darcy s heart was connected with status of her
family. But when he realised how wonderful creature she is, he was able to overcome everything
just to be with her. The same was for Elizabeth, at first she was disapproving of his behaviour and
social class but in the end due to revealing his true self she strongly fell in love
