This document tracks key indicators related to the Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme (CAADP) and its implementation across Africa. It provides data on trends in government agricultural expenditures, agricultural production and productivity, poverty levels, food security, and intra-African agricultural trade from 1995 to 2018. While most CAADP indicators have improved, progress has slowed in reducing poverty, hunger, and child malnutrition. Efforts are needed to accelerate agricultural transformation and productivity growth to further reduce inequality and food insecurity across Africa.
