Expectations Attendence Attendence is an important part of the educational process.  If you are not in class to receive instruction and to participate in daily activities, you will miss out on much of the learning process. Students are to be in the seats for the days activities with class materials out at the indicated time.  Anything less is a tardy.
Conduct Respect is the key to conduct.  Respect the fact that everyone is entitled to an education and it is not your right to take that away from them.  You must respect each person and their belongings.  When someone is speaking in class, you must be respectful and give them you attention. You are expected to participate in class discussion, in-class assignments, and projects/labs on a daily basis even when no direct grade will be given. When class is not in the classroom, you will stay on task, stay with the group and not disrupt other classes from learning.

Grading Grades will be based on a weighting system 25% HW 25% Labs/Projects 50% Tests
Academic Integrity Cheating and plagiarism are serious offenses and will not be tolerated.  A zero will be given to all students involved.  It is important for the work you do to be your own. It is your responsibility to ensure this happens.
Lab Work When the class is having a lab, you will adhere to all general rules of the lab and precautions of each specific lab activity as outlined by the instructor or lab handout.  Failure to do so will result in your removal from lab and a zero for the day’s work. Absolutely NO misconduct in the lab area. Care for the equipment is a must
School Rules All students are expected to know and adhere to the rules of the school as outlined in the handbook.  Failure to do so will result in action as prescribed by the Student Handbook.
