POST THREADS
Tweet Too
Short?
Sometimes you may need more
than one Tweet to communicate a
single message. The official
Twitter method is to create a
thread; a series of connected
Tweets.
The Thread
1. Click the Tweet button to draft
a new Tweet.
2. To add another Tweet, click
the highlighted plus icon.
3. When you have finished
adding all the tweets you want
in the thread, click the “Tweet
all” button.

A thread with 2 or 3 Tweets will
appear connected by a line
distinguishing them as a bundle.
If there are more than 4 Tweets in
a thread viewers will need to click
on “show this thread”.
Walkaround
TwitLonger allows you to type in
as long a message as you like, it
will then post that message on
your Twitter page. The first
portion is visible, then users need
to click on the URL to view the

important to group your

Grouping hashtags

confusion and means
your tweets will get found
more easily in a crowded
market.
Make use of Twitter’s
Analytics. In the Events
section you can see the
current trends. Therefore,
you can create thresh
#hashtags to build brand
awareness.
Research shows that if

Variety

RE-TWEET POPULAR ONES
Twitter gets very busy with several Tweets a
day appearing on people’s Timelines. The
Algorythm selects what it feels is relevant for
you to see first. With that in mind, you
should re-tweet popular posts every 3-4
months so it can be discovered by all your
followers.

Your Tweet
Your Tweet should look something like

The “Tweet This” is the clickable link.
What Happens
The clickable link you generate from
Click To Tweet opens up the user’s
Twitter account and pre-populates the
status update box with the chosen quote.
Enter a quote from your blog
or website that you want
others to tweet.
Click the “Generate Tweet
Link” button to create the
custom URL.
Share the link
Add @Username
Adding the @username provides and
element of attributions, which might also
gain some interest.

Another strategy involves using it on
the “Confirmaiton” page that loads
after a purchase on your website. It

Describe It
Give your list a name

list icon with the +
symbol on it.

Compose It
When you’re ready,

You’ll find this by
clicking on your profile
and then “settings”
icon in the top right
hand corner.
