I wanted to be honest and share a few reasons why I think Silicon Valley wins, some are easy to fix, others much more complicated.
I think the most important one is what goal you set for yourself. If your goal is to dominate Madrid or Paris in your niche, you might just succeed, but if you set yourself such a local goal, there is low chance youโre actually going to build a global success and be the best in the world at what you do.
Itโs the key, most people I know in Silicon Valley dream about building a world leader, not a local leader, itโs a question of attitude, and THAT is easy to change. Think more in english and more global, you might be able to achieve your dreams, but they have to be the right dreams.

SINGAPORE, May 27, 2022 - Genius Group Limited (NYSE American: GNS), a world-leading entrepreneur Edtech and education group, today held their first investor call as a public company, following their IPO on NYSE American on April 12, 2022.
During the earnings call Genius Group Founder and CEO Roger James Hamilton discussed the Companyโs 2021 financial results for both the Pre-IPO Group and Post-IPO Group of companies. The revenue for the Pre-IPO Group grew 67% from $7.6 million in 2021 to $12.8 million, and pro forma revenue for the Post-IPO Group including the four IPO Acquisitions in 2021 was $28.6 million.
The Pre-IPO Group saw growth in all revenue segments, with 83% growth in digital Edtech revenue, 72% growth in education revenue and 54% growth in campus revenue. The number of students on the Groupโs GeniusU Edtech Platform grew by 50% to 2.7 million students.
Mr. Hamilton provided an overview of Genius Group and its mission to disrupt the current education model, insight into the Companyโs plans for growth organically and through acquisitions, and guidance for 2022. Current management expectations are for 50% student growth, up to between 3.8 million and 4.0 million students, and revenue for the Post-IPO group reaching $43 million to $45 million.

8. The shocking reality of exponential growth
The inventor of Chess presented the game to
the Emperor of India, who is so impressed he
offers the inventor any reward he wants.
The inventor asks for a single grain of rice on
the 1st square of his chess board, two on the
2nd, four on the 3rd and so on.
The Emperor is amazed at the modesty of
the inventorโs request, and thinking it canโt
be that much rice, he grants the gift.
But he soon becomes enraged when the
court treasurers report that by the 64th
square, he would need to deliver
18,446,744,073,709,551,615 grains of rice
- or a heap larger than Mount Everest (and
more than 1,000 times the worldโs annual
production of rice).
Unfortunately, the inventor loses his life as
a result. But not before making the point
that exponential growth rapidly leads to
results we can hardly comprehend.

In a recent interview, Andrew McAfee, who
wrote โThe Second Machine Ageโ said
โThings only get crazy in the second half of
the chessboard.โ In his book, he calculated
that Mooreโs Law predicted a doubling
computer power every 18 months from

with digital progress in about 2006.โ

smartphones and self-driving cars, and
automatic translation and powerful artificial
